Turned out Linda wasted everything on that card for her failed political run. Now I have to sit beside Stephanie for it. Ugh.

Checked again just for laughs, and still nothing cheap. I was hoping to get in for a buck fifty or less. No such luck.

Oddly enough, my wife tried to pull a fast one on me and surprise me with tickets for Christmas. She's been giving me a hard time for a month about how I just spent 100 bucks for NoC and I'm not spending money AGAIN on wrestling that's 5 hours away...then she sneaks away and tries buying me tickets today Love this woman.

Not sure where you would be looking to sit, but Stubhub looks like it can get you in the door for under 100 bucks.

Yeah those are behind the entrance. Ticketmaster still has lower bowl seats available behind/beside the entrance for 90 I think. I would get them but I'm not entirely sure what the entrance and ramp will look like, and if it sticks out too far it blocks the views of quite a bit. I don't want to run the risk of not seeing even an inch of the ring.

Interesting thought posted on Twitter which I'll bring here for discussion.

If you were booking for WWE and they told you you have NO Rock, Lesnar, HHH or Taker for WrestleMania 29, what would you book? I'd personally go with...

No Disqualification, No Countout; WWE Championship
CM Punk (c) vs. John Cena

World Heavyweight Championship
Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Daniel Bryan

Wade Barrett vs. Sheamus

Dean Ambrose vs. Randy Orton

Divas Championship
Eve (c) vs. AJ Lee

United States Championship
Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Christian

Ryback vs. Big Show

Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Seth Rollins vs. Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Damien Sandow vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry vs. R-Truth vs. Zack Ryder

Lucha Libre Special
Rey Mysterio vs. Sin Cara

Fatal Four Way Tag Team Match; WWE Tag Team Championships
Prime Time Players (c) vs. International Airstrike vs. The Usos vs. Epico & Primo

Results:
- The Usos become new Tag Team Champions @ 11:00
- Sin Cara def. Rey Mysterio @ 9:00
- Damien Sandow wins Money in the Bank @ 14:00
- AJ Lee def. Eve (c) to become new Divas Champion @ 7:00
- Antonio Cesaro (c) def. Christian @ 16:00
- Wade Barrett def. Sheamus @ 11:00
- Dean Ambrose def. Randy Orton @ 13:00
- Dolph Ziggler (c) def. Daniel Bryan @ 18:00
- Ryback def. Big Show @ 8:00
- CM Punk (c) def. John Cena @ 25:00

Wrestlemania 29

Since I couldn't find the previous Wrestlemania predictions thread I thought I'd make a new one until it gets merged into the old one. We're a couple months away from the biggest PPV of the year and Royal Rumble is around the corner.

So what are your predictions?

I see this happening:

Cena winning the Rumble. Ryback and Lesnar clashing at the RR, Ryback outpowers him and throws Lesnar out of the ring. Lesnar comes back in the ring and F5s Ryback which set ups a match between the two like Lesnar vs Goldberg at WM XX

Mark Henry winning the WHC Elimination Chamber against Cesaro, Orton, Del Rio, Sheamus and Ziggler.

4 man elimination tag team match
Rhodes Scholars (c) vs The Usos vs Prime Time Players vs Kidd and Gabriel

AJ w/ Big E. Langston vs Kaitlyn (c) for the Divas title

Randy Orton vs Sheamus

Alberto Del Rio vs Antonio Cesaro (c)

Brock Lesnar vs Ryback

The Shield vs Team Hell No & Undertaker

Big Show (c) vs Mark Henry in a Last Man Standing, Ziggler cash in during the match.

CM Punk (c) vs John Cena vs The Rock

I'm sure there's many in WWE who think putting Ryback in a match with Brock at Mania would be great for Ryback, but really I think it would just further emphasise how **** Ryback is compared to a real "monster" like Brock and it would just make the crowd resent Ryback even more. The fans who enjoy watching Brock are the same fans who think Ryback is a joke and won't be happy to see Brock lose to Ryback, meanwhile the fans who actually like Ryback probably haven't seen much of Brock beyond this comeback and thus don't care about him anyway.

Brock needs to work Mania with someone who can go with him for a good 20-30 minutes and put an intense match on, Ryback can't do that. Brock is a legit talented wrestler and martial artist who is also huge and athletic, Ryback just has muscles, nothing more. If they really want to convince us that Ryback is a "monster" then the best thing they can do is keep him well away from Brock because Brock is much better than Ryback at literally everything. Ryback can't even lift Brock's manager up to do his finisher. Of course Brock would ruin everyone on the roster in real life, but at least kayfabe you can sell me that someone like Rock, HHH, Cena, Punk etc can compete with him because kayfabe these guys are veteran "superstars" who are meant to be some of the best wrestlers on the planet, Ryback meanwhile is meant to just be a brute force.

I agree ^. I suppose putting the two big musclemen up against each other would be the natural train of thought but Brock would have to carry the whole match and make up for Rybacks miscues. The two of them having a memorable match - it can be done but you're putting everything on Lesnar. Unless you're doing some crazy stuntman-like spot I don't see them having a very exciting match. It would be a better idea to match Brock up with someone who has more experience and in-ring skill for a big PPV such as this.

Ryback should never be in the ring with Lesnar. He's nowhere near that level.

Rock loses the title match at the RR to Punk, then enters the Rumble at #30 and wins.

Cena gets added to the mix because LOL CENA WINS.

Orton wins Smackdown Elimination Chamber to become #1 contender for the WHC, later that night Ziggler cashes in on Big Show with the help of Big E.

CM Punk (c) vs. John Cena vs. The Rock
Dolph Ziggler (c) (w/ Big E. Langston) vs. Randy Orton
Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker

Rhodes Scholars (c) vs. The Usos
Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin
Eve (c) vs. AJ

The Shield vs. The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, and (Truth? Kofi?)
Kane vs. Daniel Bryan
Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio
Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett
Big Show vs. Ryback

It seems that Ryback is a competetive guy as evidenced by his talk of "blowing Cena out of the water" as the face of the company, being on next year's cover of WWE 14, etc...
That's good but know your limitations, be willing to learn and be coachable. By saying he's better than Bill Goldberg and trying to upstage him on social media he's not showing that. Show some humility and learn. Since his character is nearly a replica of Goldberg, he could learn from him. Get better on the mic and maybe learn some technical skills. Add a new wrinkle to a boring character. IMO his look (muscular monster like physique) is all he's got and its only maybe 1/3 of the total package of in-ring work and technical skills, mic work, and look.

I don't want a triple threat as the main event of Wrestlemania. And I don't want to see 2 rematches with obvious winners. In fact, I want to see The Rock vs Brock Lesnar and CM Punk vs Triple H

But those are both rematches, one of them a fairly recent feud as well. I'm of the opinion that no matter the details, the card is going to be stacked and the talent in the ring will deliver in a big way

Rock/Cena/Punk
Lesnar/Taker

should be the top two matches, IMO. Maybe have Lesnar come out strong even in his loss to 'Taker by completely destroying The Undertaker after the match and not allowing him to celebrate. I'm almost positive Lesnar is going to be sticking around post-WrestleMania.

This match makes no sense. Why would Ziggler cash in his MITB to take part in a Fatal 4-way? He has the opportunity to cash it in whenever he wants, and he'll choose to do it then? Don't think so. If anything, the match will just be a three-way and Ziggler will come out afterwards and cash in.

The Rock on WrestleMania 29 (Sorry if already posted)

Quote:
During an appearance at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour to announce his new TNT reality series "The Hero", Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson spoke at length about his involvement with WWE in 2013 including plans to headline Wrestlemania 29 in New Jersey at Metlife Stadium.

"The storyline will be that starting this coming Monday [for RAW], I'm gonna go back, and it's going to be a big return. That will lead to, hopefully, what will be the biggest WrestleMania of all time at Giants Stadium. I will headline that show, with someone who I can't say right now. We've got an amazing four months lined up and planned out that will culminate in the biggest WrestleMania of all time. It's going to be a hell of a thing."
