Ducks and Senators

Ducks : Bobby Ryan

Senators : Mika Zibanejad and 1st 2013

Ducks : Zibanejad fits 2C role adding him with there youth of young Swedes ..Has Size and Skill and plays a physical game ..1st rd pick could be 15 and up with a deep draft Ducks could get another Young stud player ..

Sens: Ryan would fit perfect with Spezza or Turris ..Young skilled and talented and can be a franchise player for Sens going forward and huge part of the Sens young core

Ducks want a proven NHL'er... not potential.

While Zibby is a piece that is extremely attractive for the Ducks there is no way they can take this deal. If Ottawa adds Colin Greening the deal becomes much more attractive for the Ducks.

Zibanejad
Greening
Pick

for

Ryan

i would advise caution on statements like this seeing as that is how the world viewed the sens and their first round pick in 08.

I do want Ryan but Ottawa is still rebuilding & retooling, so trading our top prospect and a first in an amazing draft isn't something I'd do lightly.

You do know that all UFA-to-be do not make it to be UFA's and most are actually signed again with their respective clubs . . . not everyone wants to play in under the giant-spotlight-of-the-red-maple-leaf that is Canada

Sources, please. As many as you can offer. The more reasoning, the better.

If there's something not wrong about our pipeline, it's the depth.

Dominating their leagues and you didnt even count Vatanen who has been the best defender ina league that is better then the AHL 2 years in a row.

What does our current roster have to do with our "pipeline"? They are completely independent of each other.

You guys know nothing about the Ducks prospect pool. I think it is so funny how crazy this thread is.

Remember when people said Karlsson was a reach? Ya what a terrible pick. Just like Lindholm... less then 2 months after being drafted.

What a joke.

Kyle Palmieri ripped up the AHL for the last 2 years one while being and under ager. = He sucks
Emerson Etem goes a goal per game in the WHL = He sucks
Sami Vatanen best defenseman 2 years running against men in the SM-Liga = He sucks
John Gibson questionably the best goalie in the OHL = He sucks
Peter Holland essentially a PPG player in the AHL = He sucks
Hampus Lindholm... never heard of him = He sucks

lol

Damn our prospects are terrible.

I'm not convinced Ryan is on the block.

I'm convinced Anaheim is going to try to either rob a team for instance Turris - Michalek - pick kind of package, or they are going to keep him.

But he even says our team sucks and we have no chance of keeping Getzlaf and Perry. Thank God for his insight. I have time to go buy for Kings stuff.

Then whats your point? The Ducks have always stood by the fack that Getz and Perry were their guys. Im pretty sure that they (the Ducks) are aware that they will be getting raises and more than likely long-term contracts. I dont think the Ducks will be scared off from giving these raises to these players that have won a cup with the team and where both sides have been happy with each other from the beginning. Its not Jersey where Parise wasnt sure if there would even be an owner in the near future, or Nashville where the Sutter's family didnt want to be. Getz and Perry love SoCal, they have established lives in SoCal, even Getz married a SoCal girl and had a child with her. Making the wife and child happiest would be in his best interest as there is life outside of hockey. It may be about the money, but they will get the money they are looking for with the Ducks. The Parise and Sutter situation was both about the money and a change of scenery/I want a new team. Getz and Perry have stated nothing of that sort, though I will have to agree that we will learn a lot in the coming months of what their feelings really are.

Not terrible but you lack grit and Zibby would provide you that and with offense..

I'm an etem hater though.. that's another topic.. I just don't like him and therefor have tunnel vision lol
