Yunel would ground into a double play. On a 3-1 count too.

Just try to take the walks dude.

Brantley looks on pace to pitch 8 innings with his pitch count, so we might have one of these games....

Man, Cecil will look kinda impressive at one point and then give up like a 3 HR homerun and totally ruin his line. He could be good if he could get his HR rate under control, I know, easier said than done but it's at nearly 2 HR/9. It was under 1 when he had his best season.

I would take Ramirez before Hech everyday of the week. Ramirez can pay SS maybe not at gold glove level but his bat is what they could use it right in the middle of the lineup

Hech is John Mac 2.0 maybe has a chance to hit a little better maybe Alfredo Griffin 2.0

Hanley's bat is no longer good enough to overcome the brutal defence. He's a LFer at this point and a reclamation project at that imo. He's hitting .245/.328/.405 over the last 2 seasons.

Cecil strikes out the side. He's been fantastic today.

I think I would let him pitch another inning.

Cool, he hit poorly last year because it was riddled with injuries. This year he's been struggling but joining the Jays he can revitalize his career in more ways than one.

5.7 K/9. Of course, he would strike out 6 Jays tying his season high.

Oaklands pitching has been crazy good, Boston's not so much.

Though it's not like Blackey's pitching that well, they're hitting balls hard, just nothings coming right now. The floodgates can open at any moment though.

Oakland has one of the best pitching staffs in the AL this year. They pretty much lead the league in every meaningful pitching category on the stat sheet.

Isn't that always the case with the jays score tons of runs and then come out the next game flat and cannot manufacture runs it's all or nothing with this team. Yeah Oak has a good staff but this is not some cy young guy on the mound

Wrong, Buck.

The key to Oakland's success is not drafting high schoolers while they train their players to take walks and hit home runs without caring if they play defence.

duh.

I know that but knowing that the blue jays still have one of the best offences in the league without bautista and that they are close to wild card spot should be enough to score atleast 3

Pitched up in the zone a lot too but managed to get away with it.

As I said earlier, the A's pitching staff has been the best in the AL this season, and the Red Sox one of the worst.
