I didn't dress for the weather at Wrigley though. I looked at the weather and went, "Oh! 72 degress! It'll be a great, warm day." The massive winds under the canopy were so damn cold.

Sure, let's take out Wood after 99 pitches and then bring in a lefty to face Stubbs Phillips Ludwick

Russell isn't a specialist. He pitches well, normally, to batters of both sides of the plate.

Why would you take out Wood after 99 pitches if you aren't going to bring Camp or Marmol?

Russell is a setup guy?

So you don't think there's anything wrong with letting Wood bat then taking him out after 99 pitches for Russell against 3 righties?

Even if Russell goes 1-2-3 that's a curious move at best.

No, it's not. Russell's split averages vs LHBs and RHB are almost the same at .253 and .254.

We're not talking about someone with a .100 - .330 split.

Stubbs vs RH: .208 BA w/ .628 OPS
Stubbs vs LH: .297 BA w/ .882 OPS

Phillips vs RH: .309 BA w/ .803 OPS
Phillips vs LH: .261 BA w/ .746 OPS

Ludwick vs RH: .263 BA w/ .858 OPS
Ludwick vs LH: .276 BA w/ .960 OPS

Although I'd love to learn more, I don't know much past OBP. But it would seem like using a lefty against Stubbs and Ludwick isn't the right call.

Myers aint to blame

Matt Thornton seving up meatballs in middle of plate was the problem

Myers came into tough situation in 8th

Sox likely out of first place by end of night

...? Best tigers can do is tie it up and they are in a 1-1 game in the 8th right now.

And I'm not worried, we're still playing okay, tigers are just super hot right now.

Uhh...
1) when did tied for first become not still first
And
2) why are you essentially writing off the rangers from winning a tie game

Your logic is ****ing pathetic, as always.

EDIT: looks like I was beaten to making both points

Man, part of me wish I were a Braves fan. There are probably about 250+ tickets for tomorrow nights game on StubHub, for under $1 per ticket. Cheapest is anywhere from 1-7 tickets, for $0.49, unbelievable...

That's not to mention it's a beautiful stadium as well, just in a ****** location traffic wise.

I'd go. I go to Sox games and I'm not a Sox fan.

I might go tomorrow... I just hate fighting the traffic for it. There is no train or public transportation to get there, other than a bus, but that's now even worth the hassle just to sit. Also no restaurants or bars to go to before the game, in the stadium area that you can walk to and kill time at if you wanted to go early and beat traffic. Although there are plenty of spots to tailgate at...

Baez has been terrible since his promotion, capped by an 0-5, 3 K effort last night. Also has gone hitless in 6 of his 7 games. Nice to see him get a little taste of reality.

Soler had a slam last night, btw.

Not much

-Gutted one of the best benches in NBA
- Deng is moron ,, Has decided he wont have surgery it sounds like even though he admits he still has pain and discomfort and a slight worseing of injury could force surgery during season (That is why he should just go ahead and get it)

Bulls upper management seem to be looking forward to 2013-14 season
