By the way Petteri Nummelin also joined TPS. Patrice Bergeron took his place in Switzerland (foreigners quota).

Mike Yeo hasa message for us. Personally, I'm participating as an individual (and as a Finn I can't join His team anyway) but I like to support the cause. That, and I need an excuse to try and grow a proper 'stache.

I would like to grow a proper stache this year in November, but it wouldn't look that good in the wedding photos.

Maybe next season.

I was remembering what things were like when the first edition of this thread was created. We were so happy that it was all over with....the lack of heart, talent, and all the injuries. It's pretty interesting to go back and read that 1st edition from the beginning that includes a lot of predictions for the summer. If ya need a laugh or a break from the lockout, check it out. Re-reading the Suter and Parise FA threads are good fun too. Watching the Wings' fans insist that they were getting Suter never gets old.

There's no way they can get Bjugstad unless he refuses to sign in Florida.

Well they would want Granlund or Brodin, maybe Dumba, Coyle, or Scandella + a top six guy like Setoguchi could work...I mean you're giving up so much that it's just a lateral move and that doesn't make sense.

i didnt say the trade would make sense, just wondering what others thought we would have to give up to make a "fair" (for both sides) trade. i have a buddy who thinks bjugstad is a star & wishes he was on the wild. i wanted to tell him it would probably cost us X amount. thx ps i was thinking about our next 1st rndr, brodz & a prospect like zucker, bulmer, larsson. cheers go wild!

I don't think that would quite get Bjugstad.

Also if you want, go to the Trade Forum and put a proposal or value of and ask Florida fans what they think of the trade. It's a gongshow over there though.

Meh, he wasn't bad. He just needed to work on his shooting. Other than that, he was decent and had good chemistry with Mikko.

I actually thought he would've fitted well with Koivu and Heatley - that is, until Parise showed up.

The 11 goalies will audition for Wild Goaltending Coach Bob Mason, Wild Television Analyst and former NHL goalie Mike Greenlay, and legendary Wild emergency netminder Paul Deutsch on Thursday, Nov. 15.

After the tryout, two finalists will be invited to take part in a shootout against celebrity shooters during the second intermission of the Houston Aeros vs. Rockford IceHogs game at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Xcel Energy Center. The goalie that does the best in the shootout will be named the Wild's next emergency goaltender, with the runner-up named next in line. The two finalists will receive an authentic Wild jersey with their name and number on the back and a Bud Light Prize Pack courtesy of Bud Light.
