Which was worse -- Deadline Day 2012 or Free Agency 2012?

Free Agency 2012. Deadline Day I didn't expect much cause we got Zidlicky. Other than Boulton getting waived which I thought was to make a possible roster spot I really didn't expect much.
LOL At the Canes, and Semin rumors flying. Especially if it's only one year. He couldn't get a non loser franchise to match that? I still don't buy it. If he does go there though I don't think I want him anyway. He must only care about money if he goes to perennial loser after the GM publicly threw him under the bus with his comments.

Although, I find it weird that Rutherford keeps dropping Semin's name.
GMs typically don't shy away from showing an interest, but they're usually more hush hush about their intentions. Makes me wonder how solid the talks between them and Semin are.
I still Burke would clean the cupboards if Lou offered Clarkson. If we could get Grabovski I'd be all over it. Or maybe something like Kulemin + Gardiner.

Believe me after Parise, and Suter went to Minnesota I wouldn't put it past Semin to go to Carolina, and Doan to go to Montreal. It's the cool thing to play for a perennial loser these days though I still think Carolina with Staal, and Semin puts them in better condition than Minnesota with Parise, and Suter. I hate to say it too. I don't think Parise would have went to Minnesota had Suter not gone there. I still don't buy his BS about returning to the Devils if not for playing home in Minnesota though. I think they would have went to Detroit. Obviously Detroit didn't offer enough green for Pari$e.

I would be content no actually MORE THAN CONTENT even if we just got some news, and developments on the ownership situation. Frickin Bettman said it should be sorted in a few weeks! This was before the SCF! Like 8 or 9 weeks ago!

It's July 25th. If we're at .500 in late December then ask that question.
December is fair enough. We were of course 500 first week of December. I'd say mid December rather than late though. I want a move done, but I'm trying to follow my own advice of waiting until the season starts or at least training camp.
