huh. i always thought Zucker has more sandpaper in his game than Parise ever did. Not saying Parise is soft and obviously he plays with heart but Zucker always struck me as more antagonistic.

I never really saw that at Denver, I only watched him a couple times a year though.
I know it's been said on here before but looking at this poll I still can't believe the forward crop we got out of the 2010 draft: Granlund, Bulmer, Larsson, Zucker, Coyle (eventually). Throw in Gustafsson in the 6th and it could end up being a historic draft class for this organization.

We traded for Coyle though, so he's not a part of our 2010 draft class. Otherwise... yes... epic class thus far to say the least, but it could still end up being rather average. These guys still have to make it in the NHL first.

Yes that's why I said we got Coyle eventually and referred to it as the forward crop we got out of that draft, not the ones we actually drafted.
Give me an NHL built body, who has led his country's U20 team as well as being its key player. Not to mention one of the best young players in his country, and plays with passion, a smart two-way game, and protects the puck very well.
Nothing to not like. He's has everything you want in a winner and he's NHL ready. It is about as good as it gets.
Their forechecking would be lethal. But I worry a little bit about what kind of effectiveness they would have when it comes to puck possession.
what is this pozehshun you speak of? Clutter hits guy with puck, brodz swats puck in general direction of net, bulmer reaches the net and shoves defenseman and puck into net. Goal.

I'm going with Bulmer. I think he forces management's hand during camp and a move is made to keep him on the roster.
Bulmer - Brodz - Clutter would be one hell of a checking line.
Cullen won't be on the 4th line, and Bouchard's health history+contract make him difficult to trade. Bulmer will be in Houston.

Larsson
Honestly... if Granlund wasn't ready to make the jump at the exact same time... it'd be Larsson centering the 2nd line for the Wild instead. I've got that much faith in the kid. Unfortunately for Larsson, Granlund is there and is ready, which pushes him back in line and searching for a spot on the roster.
