Hammer must just be messing around a little bit with his pitches.

Serously, Hammer? What the **** are you doing?

More importantly, why is he even in there?

Maybe he's trying to put himself in a save situation.

My first thought too. WTF was he doing in there?

That did boggle my mind a bit... even though we do have a day off tomorrow. You score 8 runs, which doesn't happen all that often. That should give our pen a bit of a rest. Why was Hammer out there, eh?

He hasn't pitched since what, Saturday? You don't want him to go too long without any work.

He's had 4 days off already and with the off day it would have been 6 days and counting. That's prolly why

Grilli and Hammer didn't need to pitch today. They should have taken a break and warmed-up outside of game.

i'd have rather hammer given up 3 runs and looked bad today as opposed to a game where we are only up a run.

Umphdogg Magoo! That's really awesome man. One of my favorite bands. Your cousin is a big inspiration of mine.

So that Snider kid got on a base a couple more times and scored again, but how has he looked?

I actually thought both the new guys work pitchers more than I'm used to seeing this year... but I also think Snider hit into a double play which sucked.

The hitting is starting to pick back up and the perfect example of that is when we scored our 2nd run. We got lucky it wasn't a strike out, but (I think it was Snider) made him pay by getting a single and then Cutch came in on the balk.

Votto and Phillips won't be playing this weekend, that should help.

Due to the day off... can AJ go for Game 3 of the series? I'm glad Wandy starts us off, but would love getting both those guys against the Reds.
