Haha. This Georgetown-Syracuse game isn't even close, sending 35K home disappointed.

Chris Davis is supposedly looking like Mark Reynolds over at first so far this spring.

This makes me happy.

Te'o went from a top 10 pick to possibly a late 2nd. Even if he's there for the Skins they need to avoid him.

I remember a little over a year ago he was projected to be a 1st rounder if he declared. There was a lot of debate about who the top MLB was between him, Luke Kuechly, and Vontaze Burfict (I admit I was initially in Burfict's corner, what a misjudgment that was). It's been interesting watching him go from a guy who was really only known to ND fans and draftniks, to a household name and a surefire top 10 pick, to the scandal and now potentially dropping off the map. I still think if he goes to a team with a strong culture in place that can shield him from all the controversy, he'll be a great player. Not a lot of teams like that that also run a 4-3 though, so who knows.

I don't think the 40 hurts Te'o much at all.

Ogletree ran a 4.70. Minter ran a 4.82. Reddick ran a 4.72.

Those are the top 4 MLBs. Nothing's changing based on those 40 times.

40 times are not the end-all be-all for intelligent football minds.

Also, throwing Te'o into the New York media fray seems like a recipe for trouble. I think Atlanta would probably be the best scenario for Te'o - a good team with a solid 4-3 defense under Mike Nolan that's somewhat out of the media eye.

I don't consider him to be in the same category of "intelligent football minds" as say Kuechly from last year. He's good in coverage, even if most of his INT's were from tipped balls, but he's atrocious against the run and the BCS title game exposed that. Nevermind the whole girlfriend incident.

I would of guessed Baltimore as a good fit, maybe not so much after Harbaugh's reaction.

Angels Mike Trout weighs in at 241 lbs. Said he had suffered from a viral infection last year and in getting over it he's put on 20 lbs.. Looking at his previous info. he was listed at 6'1", 210 lbs.. If a good part of that weight gain is from muscle development, the Angels will have a murderer's row of their own in Trout, Pujols and Hamilton. Scary.

He's not stealing anywhere close to 49 bases again at 240 lbs...

And tbh, he looked down right portly when he first reported.

On the local front, Harper looks like a gd monster physically right now and he's tearing the cover off the ball so far down in Florida. The results are meaningless obviously, but I just can't get over how incredible he looks from a shape perspective. He looks like a young(er) Mike Stanton right now with way more athleticism and he's only 20 freaking years old.

I'm calling it now, he's winning an MVP award by the time he turns 22, and he might win one this season. Total, utter, complete, legitimate stud there.

He definitely looked pudgy from the pick I saw and that was just upper torso and up.

Man the Nationals could have a scary scary hitting team this year. Curious to see if Desmond's last season was a fluke or not and if Espinosa can bring down his strike outs a bit and a bit better average even the bottom of the lineup could be scary.

May also impact his ability of covering the OF alleys as well as he did last season.

On top of all the tremendous talent the Nats have in their major league lineup, they have a kid named Anthony Rendon that has absolute star potential. He's bulked up since he was drafted sixth overall in the 2011 draft, and he's looked sensational thus far in spring training. Results don't matter this early obviously, but he has one of the prettiest swings you'll ever see, and he has a fantastic batting eye and tremendous bat speed. He needs to stay healthy, but he has the type of ceiling that leaves you salivating.

He was the top ratted hitter going into the 2011 draft but slipped a bit because of injury history then missed an entire season from another injury right after being drafted. This is pretty much our 1st look at him healthy. Lots of upside if he can stay healthy

I don't even know what to say about that. You wouldn't even have to wander outside baseball to find a much, much more overrated stat.

I've got to hand it to you for having a completely unique line of thinking.
