I gotta wonder how much the US paid to have that Norwegian official to give them the game. The US is a better team than Canada, from what I saw.. but Canada would have won that game if not for the ref giving the US two outstanding breaks/calls.

I agree. But we also gave up a pretty soft goal, which didn't help.

Canada also got a way with a TON. How Tencredi finished that game is beyond me. The officiating was bad both ways.

Still, one hell of an entertaining soccer game. Should go read the Olympic Soccer thread on page 2. You'd think it was a SCF game.

Ha!

While everyone had a boner for Solo at the WWC, I had my eye on 13.

And I'm legal in a few months. I like older women. Well, she is young but old enough.

Doesn't mean he can't think she is attractive.

Amber Heard admitted to being a lesbian doesn't her any less attractive.

I don't think I insinuated that she would be any less attractive. I was basically saying that's pretty much exclusively a dream.

So are most of the women men talk about. It's why I laugh when people celebrate a divorce or breakup of someone famous, like any of them have a shot.

The calls that went against Canada went beyond being "bad" they were completely incomprehensible.

I wish Canada had won the game...and the loss does sting a bit - but at the same time we made stupid mistakes and failed to convert some really good chances - and given that the US is the stronger team we couldn't afford to do that.

In any event, what's done is done...and I hope that the US wins the gold medal match. Despite the cardiac moments that Canada managed to cause the US team, I think it's the best team in the competition.

With so many options you really need your own reality tv. show to help you decide who to pick

Saw the game last night and ya, that was an awful call on the goalie. The hand ball was the right call though.
