SEEMS like too many CAPS FANS are UNREASONABLY NERVOUS that SEMIN will KILL US whenever he RETURNS.

IMO he will be far too DISTRACTED about the PROSPECT of many VODKA SODA'S with OVECHKIN and GREEN after the GAME.

Are you SAYING I should LAY OFF the CAPS LOCK?

Might not be a bad idea.
No, I think you got your point across much more effectively by using it.

There is no better indicator of Semin's value or worth.

He was a so called PRIZED free agent and no GM wanted anything to do with him on an Open Market where everyone has tons of cash to do stupid things with.

Why is that?

I'm glad he's gone. He could thrive under the right circumstance, but he sure as heck
wasn't thriving in Washington. He was having a jolly good time with his best bud while at the same
time crafting a quality David Copperfield-esque set of disappearing acts.

Dude has a heart of glass. Sure he's a skill player so he can get by without blinking an eye on sick talent alone.

Can't stand these type of players. They're awful.
Thank you. This thread and the previous one reeks of SEMINSANITY!

Right circumstance such as having a top 6 center to play with and an offensive system that isn't dump and retreat behind your own goal line?

Thank god we got rid of that bum Ovechkin, he could thrive under the right circumstances but that sure as hell isn't Washington. I mean 65 points and all that anti-captain behavior? Pathetic.

Oops, I'm durrflecting again aren't I?

Remember that 20% of his points come at the expense of Cam Ward (no relation the Caps' Joel). I'll take the under on that.

Semin against Ward vs. Semin against Holtby/Neuvirth is an interesting bet of its own.

I'd give it 50/50 odds. He's likely to miss 20 games or so.

Currently I'm analyzing Semin's stats from last 5 seasons. Comparing them with OV, Backs and Laich on the way. Have a plan to do so with Parise and some others maybe.

There will be some pictures later if you want but in short it's unlikely that he could get much better for us. He was trending south.

His best season in my opinion was 2008-09 and now he is almost 4 years older on down trend. It's funny how his per game production is constantly getting lower and his salary is getting higher.

Now with all stats I think the future without Semin was unevitable.
Not replacing him and maybe even not trading him earlier is highly questionable (and another topic).

Sincerely,
SDF member
