2012 Minnesota #12 Prospect

Number 11 was one of the closest polls we've had yet between Johan Gustafsson and Raphael Bussieres. In the end, however, it was the Swedish goalie who eked out a win with 35.29% of the vote.

2012 HF Wild Prospect Rankings
1. Mikael Granlund
2. Jonas Brodin
3. Charlie Coyle
4. Mathew Dumba
5. Johan Larsson
6. Jason Zucker
7. Matt Hackett
8. Brett Bulmer
9. Zack Phillips
10. Mario Lucia
11. Johan Gustafsson

New guy is Christoph Bertschy. As always, polls are open for 2 days.

I think it's gonna be between Bussieres and Haula.

Can't really vote! My only opinion includes too much homerism.
Haven't really seen enough either of them. Or none of them.

I'm disqualified and out.

After lurking on these boards the past year or so I have finally decided to become an active participant.

I can't really argue with any of these prospect polls up to this point. In this poll I voted for Gunnarsson. He was one of the unknown guys at the prospects camp that I thought really stood out. Usually kids at that age and with that kind of height are somewhat "goofy" looking on the ice. I thought he was a lot smoother skater than I envisioned and he made a couple of really nice breakout passes. Another time he was one on one with a guy who tried to wheel around him and he used his size to direct him towards the corner and eventually behind the net. I don't see him being a factor in the next couple years, but with a couple years of physical development, I will be curious to see how he pans out.

Still like Seeler. Still because I feel he's got the best mix of NHL player likelihood and upside.

Going with Kampfer. He has looked good in the NHL.

Holla!

I can't remember who I liked between Kampfer and Haula. They're pretty equal in my eyes.

3rd time voting for the Bus. From the group of junior league players he's the player whose next season I'm most excited about.

3rd time Gunner. I still feel he's gonna be 14th or 15th though... which is an excellent tribute to our prospect pool. I can't believe we have guys with not only potential, but probable NHL upside and future left at #12.
