I feel for the Chinese. What a way to lose after 5 minutes of celebrating.

Men's finals up soon, Great Britain France should be great. The French were the favourites coming in, but GB have put down the World Record today.
OK, thanks. Yeah, I know the change regulations. It's often sooo close.

Yep! Up to tied 5th in the gold medal tally now, the reaction of the family and friends of the German cyclists in the crowd was awesome as well

Come on Team GB!

This'll be close. Think we may just lose it because of the extended rest.

That was close. +0.0005 seconds at the first split and +0.0009 at the second. Then Hoy took over.

Just read that Lindes fell in purpose in the qualifying of team sprint... That's embarrasing stuff, should be banned

They have already excused it, calling it "lost in translation."

You would think a Brit wouldn't have problem speaking English, but that's because they poached a German-born and trained cyclist on a technicality.

That is what the Olympic spirit of competition is all about.

He's German-Born. Not fluent in English. He was probably trying to joke but didn't come across as that.

No-one on the other teams have complained about it though.

Also. Pendleton is amazing. Mears did really bad!

Two Gold's today. Let's get more!

Lol, nice try but he is pretty fluent in english. You make it sound like he did not speak any english at all before he joined the british cycling federation.

It's obvious his English isn't great but he definitely seemed serious. And Hoy and Kenny's reactions make it seem like he revealed something he shouldn't have.

Ed Clancy gets the bronze for GB in the omnium. Maybe if the officials weren't completely incompetent he would have won the silver.

Battle between Laura Trott (GB) and Sarah Hammer (USA) in the omnium race. Hammer leads with 15 points with Laura on 17 and only the 500m time trial left. Should be a really good finish coming up.

I don't know how someone can believe this.

This is worse than Sella's dolomites in the Giro a few years ago

Anna Meares gets the win in a very, very questionable call.
