Dear god
Greg from LI : 12:25 pm
Keep Brian Burke and the stench of failure that follows him away from the Giants!

LOL

Why us Rex Ryan in the headline... he coaches the Jets not the Giants.

he said he wanted some size - maybe he's going to bring in a few linemen and try to teach them how to skate

it worked for Fulton Reed. where's coach Bombay?

More proof Burke is not WORKING to make the Leafs better. He needs to be doing everything HOCKEY, all the time, until the Leafs are a contender!

I know I'm probably over-reacting, but, 1967 was a very long time ago for me and I want to see the Leafs win the cup one last time before my contract expires on this earth!

Telephone technology has come a long way since 1967, my friend. Just because hes not 'on the job' doesn't mean he isn't ' on the job'

Yeah, I noticed the cell phone glued to his ear in that picture of him observing an NFL team practice. lol

If the Leafs were already making the post season, I would not say a word about Burke appearing any where at any time! The Leafs are still a mess and he needs to be doing more!

Are you suggesting Burke not leave the ACC until the leafs make the playoffs?

That's not enough, he should live in the boiler room.

I agree! Just take five-hour energy shots and Red Bull so sleep is not needed. He should be phoning every GM at least 10 times a day!

Haha at first glance it looked like you were suggesting that he can be called in the afterlife....I wonder if that is in grecoville?

If Burkes bedroom isn't the official blue of the Toronto Maple Leafs he needs to be fired.

You're being highly dramatic. It's incredibly naive for you to think that someone should be so consumed with their job that they have no time (or make no time) to do anything else. Just because you see pictures and read articles about Burke doing something not related to hockey doesn't mean that he isn't working this off season. It's not like his work has to be done out of an office. You need to seriously reprioritize life if you think that anyone should give up every waking moment to their job.

Nonis and the assistants do most of the actual work on scouting out players and making recommendations. Burke is just a mouthpiece of the front office to follow through on suggestions.
