How about Komisarek, Kulemin, Matthew Lombardi and a 2nd for Luongo and Ballard?
(this trade would be barring an actual Luongo trade in real life of course)

no thank u, I value Ballard a lot higher than Komisarek, and I end up gaining cap hit in that trade off so a 2nd doesn't make up the difference. Kulemin and Lombardi is not valuable to me as both would be 3rd/4th liners on my team and they bump someone off my roster. On top of that I lose cap space again as both combined make more than Lou.

I'd be interested in something around Colborne, MacArthur and a 1st for Luongo though. Luongo is rated an 89 while Schneider is an 83, so i'm not itching to trade Luongo barring a big upgrade to my team elsewhere. Which is why I have him on the right price list instead of trade block

I'd be willing to move colborne and MacArthur for Luongo just not that 1st rounder taking back a bad contract which is Luongo's. If you want I'd do Colborne, Macarthur, Komisarek, and a 2nd rounder for Luongo and Ballard. In Macarthur you get your playmaking top 6 winger, in Colborne you get a future top 6 pwf, Komisarek is your right handed shot and the 3rd round is a draft pick you want. Also in terms of capspace im taking in $9.53 million, while you are taking $7.75 million so you gain $2 million cap space essentially. Also I'd say Komisarek and Ballard are both of equal value, they are both d-men who are underperforming.

Cap space isn't a problem for the Leafs they have just over 9M in cap space and lose a tad over 2 in the basis I proposed earlier. If U planned on having Colborne on ur roster u actually only lose under 1M in cap space. Cap space would be a problem for me. I'm looking for a top 6 playmaker (in the mold of Whitney/Tanguay) and ideally Mac would go on my 3rd line. On top of that Canucks may add Doan or if he hasn't signed in real life by then I will be looking at signing him so Mac is a plan C for me.

Komi for Ballard is a no go for me. Even if the game values them evenly or close I don't. Komi makes a couple hundred thousand more and is a lot slower and less offensively inclined which is the exact opposite of what I want on defense.

Colborne is someone I'd like to have, but could easily live without since I have Schroeder ready to make the jump and Gaunce waiting in the wings.

Mac isn't my 1st choice for a 2nd line winger to get for Luongo, he isn't even a top 3 choice from the Leafs. But since u have listed the other 3 as untouchables, I was willing to go down to him if u added a 1st.

If the 1st is a problem, I could do one of JVR/Lupul/Kessel, Colborne and Liles for Luongo and Ballard

Hossa for Luongo? fills both teams needs both on similar contracts similar age similar cap hits. Could add in Raymond for Crawford to open up a goalie spot and give u a foward to replace Hossa

Rumors have it that the Vancouver Canucks are close to finalizing a deal that would see goaltender Roberto Luongo traded for an un-named top line winger although upon hearing rumors, another team has thrown their name into the mix
