First and foremost: Everyone's favorite insider on twitter is not a recognized and reputable source. Do not post his tweets, they will be deleted and you will be warned/infracted going forward.
If you're not sure if a source is recognized/allowed, don't post it.
If you really want to post it, check against this list.
If it's not there and you still really want to post it, talk to a mod first.
This goes for "confirmed" signings/trades AND rumors.
Yeah ******* ******** is such a tool and not legit...but I'm just curious how Eklund is considered a reputable source though, he has no connections and its quite obvious
Why not have a thread for unsubstantiated rumors? I understand why you wouldn't want them mixed in with the general forum, but they still can be fun to discuss. Just a suggestion...

Based on recent tweets, he is copying the Eklund business model. He's recruiting an all-too-willing fleet of writers for what will inevitably provide web content. Then he'll start charging for rumors. People should be sickened that this no-connections hack is going to lead a comfortable lifestyle perpetrating fraud on the public.
Are there not enough conversations on social media that you can join and discuss it there?
I agree,
but so long as nobody posts any of these rumors as coming from a valid source I don't see what the difference is between some guy making it up on twitter and some poster proposing something equally as absurd in the roster moves thread.
I only see a issue when a poster puts the "confirmed" or "rumour" tag in front of these proposals as that leads one to believe it is coming from a valid source.

This. I mean, this board doesn't really need "insiderrr" help in coming up with absurd/unlikely trade proposals.

Preying on the lowest common denominator goes back a VERY long time. As long as there are stupid people, these people like HI will exist.

The only problem with that is that some people will continue to think that these "insiders" actually have legitimate connections and that there may be a chance that they're right.
When people make their own proposals on here, no one thinks that they have any type of inside information.
It's a waste of HF bandwidth to discuss things that these types say.
