hehe, no.. Kopitar is No. 1 on the European ranking. Crosby is still #1 on the NA ranking.

I can't say I know the other Europeans but I'm not surprised Kopitar is ranked higher than any Swede as he had a awesome WJC. It was only division one but anyway.

some personal reflections...
- Interesting to see Sundström that high still, with all his injuries. I hope he stays healthy during the last part of the season and he could get drafted in the second round.
- Very smart career move by Mattias Ritola. Instead of logging average minutes in Frölunda, he is now a key player in Leksand.
- Åhsberg at No. 45 is a surprise, a very nice one. Most people that have seen him play find him very entertaining and Åhsberg should be a SEL player soon.
- Niklas Hjalmarsson at No. 52 is way too low for my taste. I have a feeling Hjalmarsson will climb quite a bit and I see him as a potential second rounder.
- Strålman had a good WJC tournament from the reports I have received, so him at No. 6 makes sense.. although I could see him a bit higher.
- I have no idea what Fredrik Pettersson is doing at No. 95, seems like they are looking way too much on his size. I guess his productivity in the juniors could have been better though, but he has been great with team Sweden..
- Where is Robin Lindqvist?

That was the first thing that hit me too. I hope he proves those scouts to be wrong about him.

Other than the fact that we might end up with a decent number of players picked the first day this year I think we could get a few over aged draftees ('86s) that were overlooked last year. At least I hope so.
