Moosehead fan here

Solid pick, boom or bust guy. He plays on the edge so takes many dumb penalties and after his concussion he wasn't the same. Before the concussion, though, he was really good. The offseason could do a lot. Was hoping Leafs grabbed him

from his clips he looks like a "not as fast" version of Havlat circa ottawa days... im thrilled with this pick and the potential upside.

Wow, Frk could be facing his second suspension this season for a slewfoot. Just received 5 and a game.

Did it look bad? Any idea how long a suspension might be?

I like that he has grit, but he's gotta stop doing stupid things.

Never saw it but from what I hear it didn't look that bad but I believe it carries an automatic 1 game suspension.

The automatic 1 game suspension can be overturned, which if it was as bad of a call as people are making it out to be, than I expect it to be overturned.

Reffing in the Q is beyond brutal. Always has been

As much as I sometimes hate reffing in the Q, the call was good. It was an absolutely boneheaded move, the type we have become used to in Halifax. It was away from the play and seemed very deliberate.

I once was very high on the guy but if anything his negatives have become worse over time. He was benched the other night for instance. I think he is becoming a distraction to the team and he is losing fans in Halifax in a hurry. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he was traded when the freeze lifts.

Detroit has a world class development system, if anyone can shape him up it is you guys but reports are not good. Maybe a change of scenery and being the man somewhere is what he needs this year?

Yeah I am not impressed with him at all. A change of scenery may help but if he has obvious problems with making bad decisions I am not sure how a new team is going to change that. Thanks for the opinions from both of you guys who have been able to see him play.

He's heating up big time, 5 points in 2 games this weekend. Won 14 straight before today. The problem? Got kicked out yet again and was a big reason we blew a 5-1 lead to lose.

Very frustrating player

I was reading what people were saying about him before his injured season and it's amazing how high they projected him going in the Draft. I'm really excited about this kid.
