I think they could if their CHL season is over and they are signed. Not sure, though.

They can sign ATOs with their NHL team's AHL affiliate even if not yet under NHL contract, so long as their CHL team's season has completed.

@chrismpeters: Austin Czarnik, Anders Lee (NYI), Riley Barber (WSH), Jacob Trouba (WPG), Danny DeKeyser & Brady Hjelle named 1st team All-CCHA.

THN reranking of 2012 NHL draft. Something positive for a change.

OHL coaches poll will be out this week and here's Brock with he's own shot at them.

Wilson mentioned couple of times (all for western conference).

Well, most probably would have had him out of the top 30 at the time of the draft. The fact that he's still at 20 shows his production this year hasn't gone unnoticed.

He was a reach at 16, there was never a doubt about that. But one that looks better with this season added to the equation, at least.

When? Eager to check it out!

Perhaps, but there's no doubt that Wilson had a ton of positive momentum just before the draft. He was 18th on TSN's final pre-draft list, and iirc, a few other services had him surging up the ranks in the weeks immediately preceding the draft.

Still would've preferred Teuvo there, but I've come around some.

I wanted Teravainen then and him moving up to 11th now makes it even worse. But Wilson should be entertaining to watch develop...

Forsberg has 2 goals after just 4 minutes in the first playoff game.

Well, I doubt he will make Sweden at the WC... So he won't be playing hockey games for 6 months...

He seemed to be just fine with doing what the Caps would like, would prefer he come to the NHL and Backstrom so some leadership and be there to help him settle in.

I wonder if Forsberg is willing to play in Hershey. Honestly, I think adjusting to the smaller playing surface would be better done with the Bears and then when he's ready, call him up.

Once his season is over can Forsberg come over for the last bit of games here, similar to the usual 10 game audition at the beginning for junior players, without accruing a service year.

Forsberg on an ATO might do wonders for Hershey's goalscoring woes.

Just get him some exposure to the smaller rink and more physical play of NA hockey.

I hope Forsberg loses in those Swedish playoffs asap.

The sooner he comes over to America, the better.

It's like a group stage of six teams and the two best teams will go to the SEL, and the other four will play SEL2. So his team will play ten games no matter what (I think)

Yes, here is the schedule for Leksands: http://stats.swehockey.se/ScheduleAn.../Schedule/3811

Forsberg is scheduled to play games through April 5 no matter how well or how poorly Leksands performs.

Oh than GL to him.

I like those round robin games.
