Will Filip Forsberg be available after the Swedish tournament (April 5th)?

Yes, he can come over, and I wouldn't be surprised if he does, but I doubt he plays for the Caps next season (2013-14) if Leksand are promoted to the Elitserien. That team has a lot of history, and he would definitely want to be with them when they return up to the top league. If I were him, I'd stay, but we'll see.

Also wouldn't be surprised to see him join Hershey for their playoff run if the Caps don't have room for him.

Wow just saw the score on NBCSN for the Michigan-Miami game, Michigan won 6-2... No points for Barber either.

I understand that he may want to join Leksands If for the Elitserien next year (if they are promoted), but doesn't he have a contract with the Caps for the 2013-14 season? Or is he allowed to leave that contract?

He doesn't have a spot this season IMO, so it'd just take up a spot on the reserve list and burn a cheap year of team control. Let him come to development camp next year and see how he does against the big boys.

His contract doesn't start until he plays more than 7 games in North America in a season (NHL, AHL, or ECHL)

@chrismpeters: CCHA All-Tournament: T.J. Tynan (CBJ), Andrew Copp (2013), Austin Wuthrich (WSH), Jacob Trouba (WPG), Stephen Johns (CHI), Steve Racine.

Wuthrich had the GWG for UND in the final CCHA championship game.

Also Ottawa 67's overage defenseman Michal Cajkovsky. 6'4'', 228 LD voted as having the second hardest shot in the OHL's Eastern Conference. Maybe McPhee was checking him out recently as well and not just Monahan.

I remember that dude Vallorani catching my eye in rookie camp. Good for him.

I clearly have an eye for talent, and this validates my role as Keyboard Warrior GM.

Wilson had 2 assists as Plymouth swept Sarnia. 2+6 for those games.

Carrick had 2 assists, also. Total of 6.

Is Kuznetsov's season still going on? If so how has he done? He has kinda quieted down this year compared to all the hype last year. Haven't heard too much about him in awhile

He has been somewhat a disappointment, but learning to play more of a team style of play always takes away some magic.

Last year he was amazing. This year he's been so-so, just like in the second half of the regular season.

Forsberg has 2 goals against SEL team Timrå with a period left. Leksand is up 3-2 and they'll basically get promoted if they win.
