Really, really slow day for picks. Hopefully people can get motivated to end this thing strong so that way we can get this thing done long before school starts.

Not gonna lie, kinda disappointed that we're almost done. The draft was fun.
I know, but just keep it in mind. Yahoo may change their listing of him to center if he starts the season as C.

This draft is like a rollercoaster. There's a group of individuals that mimic the slow climb to the top, and there's a group of individuals that mimic the intense, fast drop to bottom.

If it wasn't for a select few, this draft likely wouldn't have gotten done in time.

Damnit Josi is a good pick, was hoping he'd come to me.

Thanks! He's my 6th defenceman and the most promising - at 22 years old and starting the season partnered with Weber, he's my medium risk, high-to-very high reward pick.

I'm extremely pleased with how rounded my defence is now. The only d-man I didn't manage to snag that I wanted was Campbell.

Lots of players left for everyone though, just got to do research.

I feel like I have the best d-corps, and that's even without the likes of Karlsson/Pietrangelo/Weber. My blueliners are no slouch... if they were all on one NHL team, well, let's just say defence wins championships, right? ;]

Har Har. Kid is always an exceptional 2 way player. Reminds me of Backlund but has got a much higher offensive ceiling

Well, this is the 4th time this it has happened. I told him last time that if it happened again, he's out. He said he understood. Still deciding on what to do.

I'm not going to try and persuad you one way or the other, but people who take this too lax are likely to leave after the first year anyways. Even if they stay you'll likely face the same problems. They'll be hard to trade with, draft with, etc.

On the other side of the spectrum, we're almost done anyways. Yeah it sucks having to watch a weekend drag by for picks, but there won't be too many of those left (hopefully).
