Didn't see anything posted.

From my phone, but here's your first look people.

So there are no actual pictures of the Jersey, just pictures of jerseys it will look like. Also I assumed the Leafs would be clad in white, as it has been customary in Winter Classics for the home team to be in their coloured sweater.

I wonder if by "a modified version" they mean they'll invert the colours to the blue jersey. ie white jersey with blue pipping.

Or because that colours are red and blue they let both teams wear their darker colours

Was hoping that they'd don the vintage '31 jerseys (or the '17s), so this great news if true.

Too many stripes on the arm is distracting and awkward. I hate jerseys with not enough stripes (like what we wore in 2007-2008) and I hate jerseys with too many like this one. I need it just right like my porridge or my bed.

If true this makes me very happy!!!
a) It is my all-time favorite Leafs sweater
b) I already have one in a goalie cut I wear for ball hockey
c) The Leafs were undefeated in it when they brought it back in the mid 90's

I love it. The excess stripes make it seem extra vintage-y. I agree that the amount of stripes looks a bit strange, but I like that. It gives it an especially old-school aesthetic.

I was always a big fan of this jersey. Especially the giant, rounded numbers on the back and a lack of names. The whole thing just stood out so much. I really hope Berger is right here.

And I love the old Sun Sports covers. People give Berger alot of flack, but the guy has clearly dedicated his life to this team.

They did mention it will be tweaked. I bet it's the striping they are referring too. It has potential to be a stunner. A modern day classic!

Good thing I read the entire thread first.

I was going to say much of the same.

Great looking sweater - can't wait.

Does the Winter Classics only involve retired players or do current players also play in it?
