Lol here:
http://pittsburgh.sbnation.com/pitts...e-brad-lincoln

That will give you a nice little scouting report on him.

1. He was the #6 prospect in all of baseball just three solitary years ago. I SINCERELY doubt that his ceiling at 24 years old has become that of a .250 hitter with medium power when he was regarded just three years ago as a guy who could have an average in the .320 range with 30+ homers.

2. He's only gotten much stronger as a fielder since then.

3. In the minors the past three years he hasn't K'ed a lot, with K%s of 17.1 and 15.9. Pretty average figures for solid power hitters, and those numbers have continued to rise

This just automatic feeling that he's bad after you clearly haven't: A) heard of him before he was traded to the Pirates and B) ever watched him play a game in your life, is just a joke.

That's becasue he wasn't. It was simply a situation where they realized they brought him up a little too fast.

Qualls with a great inning except for clearly taking Jones off the bag. I'll take it.

Just read that interview and it was absolutely hilarious. That guy is the president of the Snider fan club and even he sounded really lukewarm on Snider, admitting major concerns and a lot of talk about him just needing to "figure it out". Shyeeah.

AB: What do you think of Snider's longer-term potential?

TD: I think he'll be the type that gets you 25 to 35 homers, with a pretty good batting average, .270's, 280's with enough walks to keep you happy. He also has some speed. He won't steal a lot of bases, ( though 10 to 15 isn't out of the question) but he'll go first to third with almost anyone. He is a smart baserunner too.
Yup, that's what I'd call lukewarm ladies and gentlemen!

Cutch is walking off the field with a purpose... They just may have released the beast after that...

They just let the tiger out of the cage. Bet he takes the team on his back and wins the division

Marte should have bunted. I'm old school. See if this guy can field his position.

Chapman is not really known for his precise control, I don't think that was intentional.

How Cutch dodged that is beyond me. Looked pretty intentional to me.

And Cutch is PISSED. He's ready to start a riot. He clearly yelled "Let's **** them up!"

I agree, but Cutch feels it was. That is all that counts if you are a teammate of his.

Chapman is extremely fast. I don't see bunting on him being something that would work.

I have no idea what more you want him to do to put this team on his back haha.

As someone who lived in Ohio until June, I've seen as much Chapman as anyone and he is one of the most athletic guys off the mound I've seen. Getting to the ball isn't an issue, but he's erratic throwing to first sometimes though so I wouldn't have necessarily been opposed to it.

I agree with this.

But I agree with this more.

Someone's getting one from McDonald tomorrow. And then the Reds will leave the bench because that's what they do.

Or he could just be pissed about getting hit with a 101 mph pitch, which any normal human would be. Pitches get away from guys pretty routinely and Chapman had serious control issues in the past so not sure if he totally rectified them. I mean if he did intentionally plunk him then it's pretty ballsy to do it when you're in a save situation and isnt exactly the smartest thing to do.

I know Chapman doesn't have control but damn, that's some ********. Expect a message to be sent to Phillips or Bruce tomorrow. Once that happens the Reds will get their panties in a bunch and clear the dugout and try to start a fight.

He's likely to crush a ball regardless of who's pitching...
