Ok so maybe ignorant was the wrong word. You can't appreciate it for what it is. It's not your cup of tea. Like I said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. You just need to have an appreciation for the patience and skill it takes to score. It's a very low scoring game for a reason.
There's a difference in taking time to score and seemingly not trying to score. I played soccer growing up, although no nearly as much as other sports. Another thing that hockey fans hate about soccer is the endless diving and injury faking. I like watching the English Premiere League because I like local rivalries, same as in hockey. I couldn't care less if the Slovaks play Switzerland.
