LotR movie trilogy undermines Tolkien's narrative structure, in my opinion.
I agree with this, and also feel that quite a few of the characters (in particular Samwise and Faramir) are changed to the degree that they're hard to recognize. However, they had to make a few changes and some of them made sense - like dropping Bombadil.
Visually speaking, they are beautiful movies and the score is perfect, acting is mostly good as well, but I think the story is stretched (come on, movie #2 has no content) and a few of the changes made to the characters make them less credible.
Anybody into playing Xbox games? I'm currently playing LA Noire for the second time because I didn't fully understand the storyline the first time through haha. It's a really good game though and only 15 bucks to buy it used.
If you like Helloween, you might like Angel Dust, although they haven't been around for a little bit.
And Iron Maiden is great, but the best thing Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith ever did was one of Bruce's solo albums, Chemical Wedding.
(Shinedown is awful. I don't mind saying that even though one of my buddies is their bass tech. I once saw one of their rehearsals in Nashville. If I wasn't friends with this guy, I might've done something I would later regret, like shove a pen into my eardrum. )
I just bought the Accident Of Birth Album.
I need to get Chemical Wedding and I really like the song "Tears Of The Dragon".
Bruce Dickinson has such a powerful voice.
Top 6 Metal singers (in no particular order):
Bruce Dickinson
Michael Kiske
Geoff Tate
Rob Halford
Ronnie James Dio
Ralph Scheepers
Anyone here go/going to SUNY Binghamton? Im starting in the fall in the school of management, cant wait.
My daughter goes there. Majoring in Geology. She'll be graduating after this year. She's been living off campus down there for the last couple years in a 4 bedroom apartment with some of her pals. It's close and fairly cheap. Good way to save money.

U.P.?
Probably. Very nice. One of my bigger regrets was not living there in one of my three years eligible.

Anyway their apartment is in Endicott--in that area behind that long line of strip malls. Binghamton is a really good school and only about an hour away from us. Haven't seen much of her this summer though as she's working all the time.
Time for some dating advice, I feel like I didn't do this right... Please answer people, I need
Did you ask a specific question? I didn't see it.
Here's an easy first step, wear clothes that fit and compliment your body. Baggy clothes and poor fashion choices are unbecoming to most women given their inherent nature to care about their own looks thanks to pop culture. Women don't want men who care more about their looks than they do, but grooming and some nice clothes go a long way in meeting women.
Beyond that, have some character and personality. Easier said than done, but once you get them interested at the first impression, your wit and charm are going to keep them interested.

I hate everyone who's still in college. Every last one of you.
Enjoy it. It'll be the fastest four years you'll ever experience.
This summer has made me realize how much I dislike college. So far to me, it's been like a glorified high school. So many unbearable people. After spending basically 4 months with my best friends straight it's going to be hard to go back and not hate everybody.
I'm just glad my roommates are really cool or else i'd be absolutely miserable. Hopefully sophomore year I meet some cool people and finally get some good classes, but freshman year would've sucked if not for like 5 people I met.

Going to Toronto for the weekend, so pumped. I didn't pack any of my Rangers garb, however.
Oh you suck. I was supposed to go to Toronto with some friends but I didn't get my passport, like an idiot.

Dude, what a nightmare! I had to go down to Philadelphia to get mine expidited because I needed it within two weeks. You have to jump through hoops for that ****. I'm just glad I got it, even if it did cost me $200.00.

That sucks, man. Totally different from my college experience. Call me Asher Roth, I guess.
