I had Dish for about 8 months. Living in VT, I can say I only had one issue with it. Snow/rain never screwed it up, but one day there was a huge, and I mean huge, gust of wind that slightly moved the satellite on the roof, screwing up reception. A repair guy came, adjusted it, and it was fine. Never had a problem with it.

Also, being in VT, FIOS isn't an option. You're pretty much looking at Comcast for cable, or Dish/Directv, there really isn't anything else.

Just saw Total Recall, outside of Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel both looking hot don't waste your time or money on it

My best result from the times I've tried it, not too shabby! Usually a tiny bit lower though, mid 50s. Helps when you try it at 3:30am.

Yeah, I was thinking this might be the case, the trailers just didn't make me want to go see it.

No question, but the college I go to isn't much of a sports inclined university.

If you do go, just know its like 100x nicer without the construction. I'd recommend going to visit in the fall and going to catch a basketball game after.

We can catch some Ranger-Flyer games if you do wind up going to Nova next year.
Well I already booked my tour, but I will definitely visit again if/when I get accepted and decide from there.

With regards to school spirit, I checked out UConn about a month ago and I really loved the atmosphere. I expect Nova to be pretty similar, if not better. Big East basketball is always crazy.

This upsets me but it isn't all that shocking.

Yeah, not unexpected. I don't see why they'd re-make "Total Recall" to begin with. The original only came out in the early 90s. Stupid.

My thoughts exactly. Too soon. No desire to see it, personally.

Anybody know if Ice Time Sports Complex in Hudson Valley is still running? I started playing hockey there when I was 3, and played my first couple of years of travel hockey for the Polar Bears back in 97-05 until I moved to Florida. I heard it closed, any truth?

So, the consensus is that The Dark Knight Rises was awesome?

How about The Amazing Spider Man?

The Dark Knight Rises was really good, some nice plot twists, action.

I haven't seen The Amazing Spider Man, but only because I've heard it's bad from quite a few people.

I saw Amazing Spiderman and loved it. I thought it was way better than the Toby McGuire versions. Definitely worth seeing IMO.

Verizon Triple Play
Regional Essentials
Call Forwarding - Busy/Don't Answer
Caller ID (Anonymous Call Block Not Included)
Call Waiting
OnePoint Voice Mail
High Speed Internet Enhanced
1.1 to 3 Mbps
CHOICE XTRA™

I disagree. I LOVE Emma Stone, but I thought Andrew Garfield was pretty mediocre as Spider-Man. Thought the plot was too far-fetched, and was just overall pretty mediocre.

TDKR was amazing imo. Maybe its because I went to the Midnight Premiere

TASM was worth the money.

Does this thread add to the post count?

I just saw coldplay in concert last night at Izod center, unbelievable. Even better live than recorded. Great concert, and even better, John Buccigross was there a few sections away from me
