Not sure why everyone expects Rangers to win every single game especially this early in the season given their squad is basically entirely new, made up of promoted youth players and new signings whose motivation and effort level certainly could be questioned.
On paper they still look like a reasonable SPL side, sure, but in practice I doubt it's an easy job to actually make a functioning team out of these guys.

I said to my friends Rangers would struggle, but many Rangers fans said they would walk right through the league
It's not that early 9 games in and it's still the same tactics and style of football nothing has changed (ie long balls, poor passing, poor defending) and are getting outplayed in some of the games
It has been a embarrassing start for them
They have 8 players who have played in the SPL as regulars and are struggling against part-timers who don't have the same great facilities to use and don't get paid the same wages and that's what Rangers fans are embarrassed about and rightly so but hey I don't mind

You obviously haven't seen the teams they're playing.
There's a guy I know on my uni course who plays in a higher division. Part timers.

Well, I have seen lower league football in England first hand and it's safe to assume it's quite a bit worse in Scotland so I have an idea here. But the reality is that these guys are obviously going to give it a go given who they are playing and quite frankly a team that invests will usually have a shot against a team playing uninterested, lacklustre football even if that team is considerably more talented.
And really what SPL regular would sign for a team playing in Division III for any reason other than the wages and the fact you *think* you can just mail it in every weekend.
I'm just glad it didn't happen against Caley. That would have been truly sickening. I wasn't at the game today, but all the stats seemed to show that we should have won it easily. I suppose it had to happen sooner or later. I just hope they don't fall to bits after losing their much talked about streak, but I doubt they will.
Was surprised Dundee got another result against Hearts today. Let alone a win.
Great result for County against Aberdeen, and I'm glad to see Steven Ross got a goal. It would be nice if one of these Don Cowies and Gary Mackay Stevens play for County. (Though Don Cowie did for a long time, it's just so long ago that I can hardly remember)
Absolutely loving this year so far. The league is so unbelievably close. I mean, County are only 6 points off top!
Come on Dundee Utd! Let's make this log jam even more complicated!
Scottish Premier League club Hearts are pleading for "emergency backing" from every supporter after being issued with a winding-up order over a tax bill for almost £450,000.
I thought Hearts are owned by that Lithuanian oligarch, surely he should be able to find that sum somewhere in his assets?
You'd think so. From what I understand, he's annoyed because he already paid for the players taxes in question at Kaunas (his other team). And he's the kind of guy that will go for brinkmanship until the last minute. Sometimes beyond the last minute. He wants the fans to pay for this through a share issue from what I can see since he believes he's already paid the tax once. It would be hard to believe that he would let Hearts go under to prove a point, but I wouldn't put it past him. Oh, and Hearts personally owe him something like £25M.
