No idea. I think this is a decent Wolves depth signing. Someone who is familiar with the organization and has performed well for us in the minors before. Good size and should fit in with what we are trying to accomplish.

Likely won't see any NHL time but I don't believe that is what this signing is for.

I would have to think that the odds are quite low that he sees any NHL time. Stranger things have happened...buuuuuut...nah, he'll be playing for the Wolves all season barring a terrible, crushing wave of injuries.

I think the Parade should probably start at Main and Hastings.

Never wanted to see him in a Canuck jersey again. But the Wolves are decidedly lacking any kind of grit factor and need a 4th line winger who can play up, so maybe this is it.

Yup, I think this is a waste of a contract as well. Duco showed 10times what desbiens has showed at the NHL level and is just as good at the AHL level. It's a mistake and another decision where they've chosen size over someone better.

Hell, lets talk about Bitz while we are at it. Bitz was able to play center and wing, top 6 or bottom 6 at the Ahl level, it didn't matter. He also wasnt terrible like Desbiens was at the NHL level.
