Thinking of doing that myself. Juice or Water? Any suggestions never tried it before, at least on purpose.

Fasting....

When "meal time" comes, get yourself involved in something else.

And by all means, if you feel faint (low blood sugar), drink at least some juice.

Glad the eventual outcome was relatively moderate. It never ceases to amaze me that the daily commuting death toll fear outreaches combat casualties, even at the height, without comparison.

Since the Hunger Games blu-ray came out yesterday...

Spoiler warning (for the three people who haven't seen it yet but want to.)

I didn't get what all the fuss was about. It's a cool idea, but it was executed poorly IMO.

The way that the main character basically never had to kill anybody. Stuck in a tree, genetically enhanced wasps are there to get you out of it. It was cop outs over and over again.

It would have been far more compelling of a story to see what happens when you are actually forced to kill, not just have your opponents get killed off while you get to be the hero over and over again and have everything work out your way.

It is far more interesting to see how a "good" person has to deal with either killing off someone else they know is "good" to save their own life or just trying to survive as long as possible with them. I wonder how long it would take of being out there like that (with say one other person still alive who also doesn't want to kill) before one of them decides they'd rather just get it over with and kill them, win, and go home.

I also thought it would have been better if it wasn't basically rigged by the people in charge.

What bothered me more than anything were the flashbacks..There was like 10 of them.

I really didn't expect much from the movie anything based off of the latest Teen Fiction is going to be pretty ******. Here's hoping they don't make a 50 Shades of Grey book so I don't have to kill myself.

My wife really liked the book so we went to go see the movie while it was still in theaters. I could tell by the end of the movie that a significant amount of important details were left out of the movie even though I didn't read the book. It was an ok movie but the story felt a little shallow. My wife insists the book is significantly better.

Lots of issues in making books into movies. (Hated Stephen King movie even though it had great actors, but loved book: Misery)

Lots of stuff left out of Harry Potter books (although by splitting book 7 into two movies, they kept a lot more).

They also split the 4th book of the Twilight series into two movies. (Watched movie Twilight then read complete series, then watched movie again -- so much that did not make sense on first watching was better on second, but there was a lot left out.)

Heck, I remember the first major disappointment I had in watching the movie after having read the book: Day of the Dolphins. (Which came out before many of you were even born )

It didn't make sense because it is a horrible, horrible, movie, book and concept.
