It's not crazy to think he can hit that.

Yeah I don't know what it was but his playmaking seemed to be the best I'd ever seen it last year. He was making insane passes every single game after he came back.

I think 35 is way too low for goals though. Even if he isn't as goal focused as he was during his 25 game pt streak and the year before that, he'll still hit 40 goals easily with our powerplay and his talent.

I could see something like 40-80 or 40-90 in a really good year.

My prediction Sidney Crosby's stats (If he stays healthy):
77GP 44g 72a 116p +21 36PIM 1.5PPG

Just a random guess.

Only 35 goals? Didn't he have 33 in 41 before the injury?

I agree in the sense that he may not hit 51 again (which I'm okay with) however, I see him scoring more than 35 for the next few years. I do not think he will ever score 100 assists though. I don't think anybody will currently playing in the NHL barring major rule changes.

I can see Henrik doing it if of both of the brothers stay healthy for a full season.

So, if Daniel plays another 10 games, Henrik all of the sudden gets another 33 assists on the season?

Nah, I don't think so. Nobody in the NHL is going to get 100 assists in a season.

How the **** does anybody know that Sids goal scoring days are behind him? Honestly... I don't know how some people are even able to dress themselves in the morning.

In 2006.. which was a much more wide-open NHL game than today.

Unless the game opens up a bit, I don't see him getting back to 100 points again.

Glad to hear it (obviously). Hopefully it will stay this way, and the issues are behind Sid.

Hockey aside, no one deserves this concussion crap hanging over their head.

So, the scenario IF IF IF IF IF IF Crosby stays healthy is:

Goal scoring is a tough art, especially if you havent played that many games in the last two seasons.

Thus I expect Sid to score 30-35 goals next season.

But he will have more assists than anyone in this league next season.

So, if healthy, IŽd expect something like 30+85, 115 points.

But you know... If he will find his goal scoring touch.. Expect 130 points.

Sarcasm right? All Carrick did was help to misdiagnose the problem and give Sid some placebo effect with his quack diagnostic tests and exercises. AFAICT he did nothing to help Sid and in fact probably set him back by wasting his time, that he might have otherwise used to see a real doctor and get a real second opinion that might've discovered the neck issue sooner.

Also as mentioned many times, medically speaking he might as well have a degree in English Literature. It wouldn't be any less meaningless than the one he has.

For some perspective, Sid had 66 points in 41 games in the 2010-2011 season...

66 / 41 = 1.61 (rounded up) PPG average

1.61 x 82 = 132 point pace

Playing with a top shelf Kunitz and Dupuis you can expect a ceiling of 130-140 points if playing a full season with consistent production. 140 points max with a better functioning PP, I would like to hope for 150 points but that is simply unrealistic. This guy is human playing with lesser players around him (aside from Geno) and there's only so much he can do.

he's gotten 120 pts before...as a 19 year old with the same, if not worse line-mates.

Do people honestly think Sid is going to have trouble cracking 100 pts or 30-35 goals?

Wow.

If he stays healthy I'd say 100+ points is a given even if he has Tangradi and Dupuis or something like that. How much higher just depends on who he plays with.
