I'm a longtime reader of this forum and I found this video today on youtube and really liked it and figured I'd share. Watching it makes you realize that despite his short comings and the heat he takes as captain of the Leafs, he really has a distinct personality and edge to his game. He sure isn't afraid to make his mark and always stands up himself. It's the kind of traits one would hope the team can start to emulate.
Enjoy

Reason: YouTube link not working
Yes, you did see a compilation of hits, fights and slap shots... it was a highlight video after all. But I could have sworn it was highlighting some of the strengths in his game that contribute to his personality as a player.
Perhaps you misunderstood what I was referring to when I said personality.
No one should be allowed to make montages except for KesselySnipes and TheAncientDirtBag.
Come on man, that was pretty awesome. The only thing about KesselySnipes vidoes, even though I love them, is that he goes overboard with the effects tools and makes it seem gimmicky; simple is better for sports highlight videos.
Good video but it's missing one of my favorite Phaneuf moments as a Leaf.
Just an amazing shift if you look at all he did. I know it wasn't a fight, big hit or goal (or even a point ), but it's a really impressive effort by Phaneuf.

video is insane because it has 17,000+ views, 100+ likes and not a single comment.
I also remember that rush, pretty sweet. Not as sweet as Schenner's coast to coast though.
