Now it's time for the real fights. C'mon Cerrone.

Yeah, makes no sense.

If Shields stand up was just even decent he'd be a top contender but nope he still looks like **** on the feet.

I can't help but think of Kevin Randleman when I see Guillard.

I thought Cerrone would submit him, but that works.

Another case of Guillard snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Until that head kick the fight was going exactly as I thought it would.

When Cerrone was dazed I was thinking "OK so how is Melvin going to lose this?"

Cerrone is one of my favorite fighters. He's too loose (prideful, stupid, arrogant, whatever you want to call it) to be a champion but I love watching him fight. He brings it every time and will fight anyone. I hope the UFC continues to make him rich and put him in the co-main fights as a lot of other fighters would do well to follow his lead.

I'd love to see a Cerrone vs. Pettis fight.

Melvin came out like a ball of fire but Cowboy's chin is granite and so is his shin apparently haha

Cerrone is a better fighter overall. No shame in losing to him other than Melvin clipped Cerrone (his only chance to win) and couldn't finish.

I'm a fan of both these guys so I just hope it's a great fight. They're both warriors and champions obviously but I'm interested to see if Edgar can make it through a full fight without doing something extremely careless/stupid, i.e. the upkick in last fight. He seems to do it every fight and while he can overcome it most times you can't afford that when you're fighting championship caliber guys like Benson.
