Detroit Red Wings Prospect #6

1.) Brendan Smith - D, 6'1" 198 lbs: Mimico, ON, CAN 72.73%
2.) Gustav Nyquist - RW/LW, 5'11" 185 lbs: Halmstad, SWE 68.75%
3.) Calle Järnkrok - C, 6'0" 176 lbs: Gävle, SWE 72.73%
4.) Tomáš Tatar - LW/RW, 5'10" 186 lbs: Ilava, SVK 44.44%
5.) Tomas Jurco - RW, 6'2" 187 lbs: Kosice, SVK 65.85%

Marchenko barely beat out Almqvist as the add this round. Guessing he will be next, but keep suggesting who you think should be next. Think this next rounds vote should be interesting with Pulkkinen, Mrázek and Sheahan having a lot of split views on them from our discussions in the previous polls. Probably need the full two days but if someone gets a lead that is too big we can always move on that seems to be working.

Sheahan I guess. Not big on him, but I give him points for apparently being so high on the Wings list. They seem to value him pretty highly, and he does have some nice tools. Wish he could score though.

I voted for Sheahan once again, really would like him off the board so I can start voting for Ouellet.

I think we should add Louis-Marc Aubry next, think I might have to wait a little bit for the rest of you there though.

Hard to pick. I basically see this one as a toss-up between Ouellet, Sheahan, and Mrazek. Went with Ouellet considering Sheahan and Mrazek's smaller chances of reaching and exceeding expectations (not that they won't reach reasonable expectations, I just think it's less probable they'll reach somewhere close to their ceilings).

Went with Sheahan, I still believe in him, and he should get a chance to play with some talented wingers this year in GR.

add Almqvist.

I'll just post what i wrote yesterday being one day too early.

My pick here is between Sheahan and Mrazek and it's a hard one because I'm high on both of them. I'm going to go with Mrazek because he was so unbelievably good at the WJC(his first), had a great playoff run and even made the Czechs WC roster. Sheahan is more likely to make the NHL and it could all go down hill from here for Mrazek(like McCollum), but for me his potential is too high to miss out on.

I'm not very high on Almqvist because of his size and close to nonexistent physical play. So add Ferraro.

Narrowed it down to 3, but I'm still having a tough time choosing 1. Ouellet, Tvrdon, and Pulkkinen. Tvrdon is my favorite of the bunch, but I voted Pulkkinen.

Sproul should be a top 10 prospect. Should be Ouellet and Sproul at #7 and #8, imo. Goalie prospects are too unreliable.

Pulkkinen is more over-rated than I thought.

He was overated. He really impressed at prospect camp on snapping ice. The coaches were quite suprised how good and Nhl ready he was. Imo he is pushing the top guys now. I voted sheahan but pulk is next.

Sheahan. It was only one game on the Wings. But he looked like a player.
Add Almquist

Voted Andersson. I think he's closest to being NHL ready out of the remaining prospects. He doesn't have the most upside but I think he can be a servicable 4th liner.

Add Almqvist.
