Just got the Recurve Bow and finished the second optional tomb. Love the game, but thinking I should have maybe played on Hard; Normal is pretty easy. I think the hardest part thus far was:

Spoil:
Getting attacked in the Wolf Den and having to mash L+R with timed melee and action buttons. I apparently do not have dextrous enough fingers on my left hand to hit the L+R keys fast enough (PC); after dying three times, I finally used both hands with one on each key haha.

Dodging is really easy as well; you pretty much just hit the button. I guess I'm just traumatized since the last game I played before this was Dark Souls where one failed block / parry with timing is death and technique / windows vary by mob.

Yeah, Normal was a bit too easy.

Cripes. The world is devoid of life after the story is complete. I need 148 bits of salvage for the last and final upgrade and I can't any at all.

Go back to the early forests and hunt deer?

Walked into Walmart looking for the walking dead: survival instinct.. Was pissed when they didn't have it, ended up walking out with this, and I have to say, it's pretty ****in incredible.. After reading up on the walking dead game I'm happy I ended up with this, I thought it would be another cheesy shooter with too much work put into a lackluster multiplayer but its not.. Game looks and handles fantastic, is frickin intense, and fun to boot.. Was not expecting that, one of the better games I've played in a while.

This game is incredible, though I don't like the limited ammo. 150 Smg rounds, 100 pistol rounds, 30 shotgun rounds and 40 arrows aren't enough.

I'm glad that you can't hold onto huge amounts of ammo. I actually would have loved it if you had to choose between only having 1 of the Rifle or Shotgun at any time. The pistol is easy enough to carry, the bow can go around her neck, but I'm not sure where Lara is hiding the rifle or shotgun. You could pick one up at any time when an enemy drops it.

Oh I know about head shots,I'm mainly complaining about those guys who are wearing plate armor that are bullet sponges

Now that I think about it, the only guy that runs out of ammo too quick is the Smg , and thats because the high rate of fire. There are plenty of bows laying around so that's never a problem. Shotgun ammo is plentiful too, just the assault rifle is sometimes hard to find and like I said I go through a whole clip in two seconds.

A) Shoot at their feet, then strafe to the back and drop them while they hunch over, or
B) Preferred method is to run up to them, wait til they swing, dodge, and shoot in back or melee counter

Option B becomes even better once you get more melee upgrades. By the end, you can kill every enemy in the game instantly except for bosses with a dodge then counter.

I have to say, before you can attack using the climbing axe, Lara's shoulder barge is really cool. That, combined with her dirt throw really makes for a scrappy experience. I liked body checking people off of cliffs. I kind of wish you could still do it even after you get the axe.

I had fun with it but there isn't much replay-ability. There isn't much to do on the island aside from collecting whatever it is you need to get 100% but I don't care much about that. Occasionally you'll run into 3-4 bad guys who apparently missed the memo of everyone else getting killed.

Making a long jump to a cliff edge and then slamming your pick into the rocks to hold on is one of the more satisfying things I've done in a video game in recent memory. This game was a ton of fun - there were certainly a lot of similarities to Uncharted but I had no problem with that.

I've beaten it 5 times(i've got all the single player trophies) but yeah supposedly a new set of comics will be released starting in February of 2014 that will bridge the gap between the current game and the sequel. Too bad they couldn't turn some of those adventures into DLC.

She's certainly attractive but why not just let Camilla do it?

I mean she did do the voice acting and motion capture for Lara.
