I'm a Regional Sales Executive, for one the largest Educational technology company's. I sell mobile solutions to the Higher Education market in Canada. I absolutely love my job and it's a great thing to be able to say that as that has not always been the case. Been doing the Higher Ed tech sales thing for 14 years now.
Staff Accountant for a claims management company......aka i take care of all of the small, tedious, time-consuming things that the higher-ups dont want to do to ensure the money keeps flowing into their pockets. yes, im a glorified b*tch, welcome to corporate america. maybe someday ill get to be the b*tcher instead of the b*tchee. my CFO started at a lower position than im currently in, so i guess theres hope.
newly-wed husband. TRYING to become a father......definitely NOT as easy (or fun) as one would think.

Just remember that even the CFO is someone's *****.
Director with CBSA ( Canada Border Services Agency ) 26 years in with the Feds.
Yall are over the top whenever I have come into Canada. Its ridiculous.
The dog jumped on me in Vancouver for no reason before G7 and I was held for 3 hrs and everyone was telling me I was gonna miss the game and stuff.
I went to Casino Niagara when I was in Buffalo visiting a friend and since I had Nevada plates on my truck it was assumed I was trying to smuggle crystal meth into the country. The dudes were threatening to cut my leather seats open and stuff.
Won't be going back unless we have another game 7 the harassment was completely uncalled for.

You got that right...
We tried for a year and a half before we got Nicolas (our soon-to-be-5-yr-old) At one point we just said "Screw it - we'll stop trying for a bit" and BOOM...
With Sophie (10 months) we had to go the scientific route... But the cool part is where you typically get an ultrasound picture at like 10 weeks... We have a picture of her at 8 cells... so that's kinda neat!
Oh - and plus she's pretty cool too. Plus she's WICKED cute - with her little round head!

My official title is senior clinical applications analyst. What I do is work with an electronic health record (Epic), implementing and supporting the clinical applications, so clinicians can document, place orders and communicate with other clinicians electronically. I started in the field as a trainer, but have been doing the analyst thing for coming up on 8 years now. Out of college, I spent almost nine years in the Navy, then did a short stint as a mutual fund accountant.
Scotto, you may find it interesting that I currently work in your old stomping grounds of East Boston.
late to reply to you but very interesting. I have also worked for a company that is in your field. I was with them for 5 years prior to my current job for the past 3 1/2. Beacon Partners.
All I know is, I don't want to sell anything, buy anything or process anything as a career. I dont want to sell anything bought or processed or buy anything sold or processed or repair anything sold, bought or processed as a career.
The primary focus of the firm who employs me is homeland security, federal, state, and local law enforcement. Sometimes the military. Sometimes even private security contractors.
Frankly, a little reluctant to answer w/ some of the attitudes I've seen in here over the years in regard to some of the above entities. But, there you go, that's what I do.

In that case, I'm going with something "interesting" -- you are an assassin

I should have added and emphasized that it's not nearly as cool as it sounds. I'm a "suit". But, I do often get to work with, and for people, who I consider to be genuine heroes. Assassins, no. Those are considered to be the "BG's", or the bad guys.
