Atletico having no problem with the mid table Sevilla, what an uncompetitive two team league.

might be a 1 team league now that these dummy separatist Catalans are voting for a referendum for independence... Pique already made a lively tweet about how important it was to vote

Didn't Rosell already say they would stay in La Liga even if Catalonia separated?

Random question came up to me. If Catalonia were to become independant, would the Catalans still be in the Spanish NT? And would Barca still be in La Liga? (Sorry if these are ignorant questions)

As said earlier Rossel already stated that Barca would be apart of La Liga but it wouldn't make sense to me at least, if the Catalans would still be in the Spanish NT.

Pique, Puyol, Xavi, Valdes, and Alba are born in the region +

others may say they have Catalan heritage i.e. One of my dad's friend was born in Malaga but he considers himself Catalan since his parents are from there

You're correct. Iniesta is not cataln, for some reason I thought he was. Busquets is catalan.

I would've thought the Basque would get independence way before Catalunia. Anyway, I hope Catalunya don't get their independence, has nothing to do with soccer though.

No time for A lot of posting now, but two things:

First, away to Levante is not always an easy fixture. Hopefully the team can get a win and take advantage of yesterday's loss for Madrid.

Iniesta is not Catalan. He has however played for Catalonia. This is not uncommon as they have guest players all the time, and if my memory serves me correctly Stoichkov was one such player. He also recently made some positive comments about the idea of Catalans voting for independence, or that at least he understood it and in someway felt Catalan himself Since he spent about half his life there. Of course whether or not he actually would play for their NT is an entirely different story. Anyway, they have plenty of players to choose from to put together a decent side. The only position that they would struggle with would be striker.

Probably why I thought he was catalan.

Spain wouldn't be favorites anymore without the catalan players that's for sure.

Not saying I don't agree with your opinion, because I do agree.
But today we (me has voted) vote who will govern catalonia, not for the referendum
