I was four years ago in Beijing and I wasn't exactly happy despite the claims of greatness I kept to hear everywhere (mainly because it's still a dictature?).
This time I spent only 9 days and had way less tickets but I can definitely say that London did a SUPERB job in these games: very good transports, clear indications, nice venues, excellent job by the volounteers, crowds cheering for every single athlete in a true Olympics spirit.
Only flaw: ticketing system and prices. No wonder there were a lot of empty seats even in major events. Still, even Beijing had problems with empty seats...
Way to go UK, congrats to the British fellas in here, you did a fantastic job and this edition of the Olympics was with few doubts the best ever.
