USHL Schedule is OUT!!

http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=9358

Just when you think the USHL can't possibly make a schedule more pathetic, they one up themselves...

Looking at Fargo the following awesome occurances stand out...

- From 10/19 - 11/15, Fargo plays at home once. One home game, in 27 days.

- The Force play Tri-City in FIVE CONSECUTIVE GAMES(2 road, 3 home)....in EIGHT Days. Is this the playoffs? Good lord.

- The Force don't play Lincoln at home until March...when they will play 4 home games against the Stars in 11 days.

Great. Get to see Waterloo twice and Team USA makes their return to Omaha and they even have a local kid.

To be honest, no. Which is why I gave up my position covering the league this season.

Also, a well connected, knowledgeable guy like Edges has separated himself from the USHL as well, so there aren't any other USHL people, outside of yourself, that I really even remotely enjoy talking about the league with.

hahahaha, you enjoyed talking about the USHL with me??? never sensed your joy!

whats your main beef with the USHL, I have read some of your stuff here and there, but is the main problem Skip Prince, or just the way the league is fundamentally run?

Zero fan communication in terms of rule changes/transactions.
Brian Werger
Awful Scheduling for both the fans and players.
Brand/Officials Facebook incident from last year.
God awful officiating.
Brian Werger.

I like that it's the top jr league in the US...

hmmmmm...

I see something repeating in that list...

not a fan of Brian Werger are we? communication is very important in all junior and minor leagues, especially to their smaller loyal fan bases....I havent dealt with him or any of the USHL ups directly so I really have no qualms in that regard....

I have different issues that bother me, but thats for another day

Oh, I've never dealt with him directly either. Though, I've seen e-mails from those that have. He's a smug jackass with zero communication skills, which is funny since he's the head of Communications...

To blame a fan for "invading the privacy" of the USHL's head of officiating and officials after they publicly posted on Facebook that "officials dont like to see goals in Cedar Rapids" is seriously mindblowing. He even went on to call the fan's concerns "ridiculous". Yes, the concern of your fans when your officials say they literally do not like to see scoring(something you know...officials can have a bit of control over in a game...) in a certain arena is "ridiculous". Complete assclown.

I've read other quotes that Werger made to Ryan Clark, that...I would hope...he thought were "off the record", which were all basically an "Eff You" to the fans, which Clark posted on the internet. Can't find them right now though. Don't have an ounce of respect for Werger.

I'd like to hear your issues, to be honest, because I probably share them as well.

As someone who has experience working with the QMJHL, the USHL by comparison is honestly a joke in terms of organization and professionalism.
