Is there any way I can get rid of players on my roster other than trades? I have a few guys on my AHL roster I would waive/cut/whatever but I see no way to do anything about it. I assume 50 players is the max limit, which is what I'm at now. Kind of handcuffed from adding anything unless its 1 for 1/2 for 2, or has me giving up more than receiving in any deal. Feels bad, man.
Waivers, providing someone picks up a player. They'd have to be one way contracts you bring up and then send down after a few games. Other than that, trading is about the only way until the offseason. Once the offseason hits, you can buyout contracts.

Good game. As I said in the message I sent you after it, my 3rd goal was one of those garbage ones that shouldn't happen. Goalie makes the save, puck kinda bounces over them and in. It was a decent slap shot, but should have been too far away to have that kind of an impact. But it is what it is. It wasn't the game winner, so it didn't make a huge difference. By the same token, I had you beat on that penalty shot and was so set in my ways that I ignored the wide open net and put the puck right into your pads away from the net.

If I remember correctly, you and I only played one game. But I remember you said you were pretty new to it at the time. I know you got a hell of a lot better at EASHL since that time, so I assume you probably got a lot better in vs. play as well over that time. So maybe it wasn't the fairest test.

Lame. I did think about doing that (the call up and send back down). Didn't go through and actually look if those players I wanted to get rid of were on 1 way or 2 way contracts. Guess I'll figure that out shortly then.
EDIT: Also a question: looked at my games for this period. All had the human icon next to the name except for the Islanders. In the league we do have someone controlling the Islanders. Is that person not active? Or did they set it so the CPU plays their games? I want to be sure before I play vs. the CPU, just in case someone had full intention of playing. I see Pizza Rules is still listed as the GM. He hasn't posted in this thread since he signed up.
Those of you who have somehow evaded online connection issues, what time do you guys usually play?
For those using the NHL13 Companion app to manage their team from their phone, every time I load it up on my iphone, it tells me to log into the game and join a league because apparently i'm not in one, even though I obviously am. Anyone else having or had this issue and got it fixed?

Not that I've played a ton of games, but I have had no connection issues so far. Never played in the morning, have a couple of times in the afternoon, and more often than not I play at night. This is any online play, not just the GM connected stuff. That's almost entirely been at night for what its worth. Late evening for the most part if I'm remembering correctly.

maybe it's a local issue with my wireless, i've been reading up on some cheap stuff to enhance wireless signal at home, i'll give that a try tonight and see what happens.
i have to play colorado 3 times, chicago, and nashville. won't be able to for most of tomorrow so tonight is probably it for me. what do we do if they don't sign on or are having issues with their roster?
