In the meantime we can get the hfboards EASHL team going and hopefully experience a week or so of no glitchers.
Or more accurately get matched up with glitchers who got the game with the EA early pass and have already played 100+ games together by the official release day. And have too many people on the hf team and cause most of us to enjoy sitting in the locker room watching the clock tick down.

Also if you have any interest in this month's playoffs for NHL 12, I'm up for that too. Not sure if Rhodes is capable of getting on while at school, so it might just be you and I (or anyone else that's still on the team... if anyone else is).

My internet was having some issues after that last game. Lagged the whole last game and it was iffy after. Main reason I didn't come back/left suddenly. But I should probably be around either tomorrow or the day after for playoffs.

Playoffs start Monday.
I was going to sign off after that game anyway. Heading into it I felt I could play two more, but that tying goal was such an eff you goal from the game that I figured there was no point in continuing.
If we didn't have the playoffs coming up, I'd say that was the perfect way to end NHL 12, because it sure did sum it all up.
Why? So I could get $5 back for it? I still get use out of it playing against friends, or just a quick vs. game or two online. No reason not to hold on to it for now. If I stopped playing it in March or April, sure, but I've still played it.

Remember with 12 I got it on release day and in our first eashl game that night our opponents had already played at least 50 games. I expect it to be even worse this year.

Yeah, I'm just not bothering until I have the game and can actually look around at what I have. Sure, I can see the ratings of everyone on my team now, but I want to play a few games (play now, online, or anything outside of this actual league) to see how I feel with them. Then I'm more inclined to see who I want to trade/what I want to improve.

A) We don't know what our rosters will look like after the first roster update.
B) We don't know the ratings of all our prospects
C) We don't have our salary cap numbers handy
There's no rush.
I've pre-ordered the game and should have it on the 11th.
I'll start the league after the roster update. Assuming that will happen by the 12th, then we'll wait another couple days to make sure everyone has the game.
Then we'll go through the season a decent pace. Not quite the 1 season per week pace that a bunch of the XBox people seem to be envisioning though

If I had to guess its because he's unable to connect to NHL online at school. If he can't play any games, he probably chose to just drop out of the league. At least I'm assuming he still has that problem of being unable to connect online, as he has mentioned that one before.

Bingo. I'm not sure what it is, but for some reason I can't play online with this particular game. I'm going to try applying to get on the dedicated gaming server but my friend that's already on it has the same nat type so I'm not expecting a difference. If that does work, I'll take any spot that opens up if nobody else wants it

Well since the league won't be started until likely around a week after the game comes out, I'd assume you'll know whether or not it'll work by then and if it doesn't, then I'll open up Chicago. But until then it's still yours.
