Top Rookies for each team

Who do you think will be the top rookie for each team this year? Meaning the rookie will stay on with his team for the rest of the season?

Conacher. ROY candidate also. Looks like he will have the shot of playing top 6 mainly with Purcell and Lecavalier.

Palmieri. Technically he's not a rookie though, so I guess it's Peter Holland.

Silfverberg's probably starting the year on a line with Michalek and Spezza so he's getting the opportunity and has the skills to be one of the standout rookies this year.

Patrick Wiercioch will also see some significant minutes early on. There's talk that he'll start in the top 4 with Gonchar as his partner.

This is going to be a great year league wide for rookies though. Looking forward to seeing Schwartz and Tarasenko in St. Louis and Galchenyuk in MTL.

Granlund for Minnesota centering the second line.

I'd say Brodin to if he wasn't a week or 2 away from being ready to play after his injury

Silfverberg. Dominates SEL and AHL, has WHC experience and NHL playoff experience, and potentially starting with Spezza and Michalek (which means he'll also see a lot of Karlsson).

Atkinson is technically a rookie so him for Columbus. He is currently slated to play on the top line and get PP minutes.

Ben Scrivens and Leo Komarov are the only rookies who should be with the Leafs all season.

Brandon Saad's the most likely to stick with Chicago. A chance Pirri comes in at some point, but it's less likely.

Completely agree. If Colin Greening can put up 37 points playing with Spezza and MM9 last season (82 game schedule) then Silfverberg who is much more talented, should be able to do much better. Here's hoping to a Swedish connection with Karlsson and Silf.

Oh ah Silfverberg, say oh ah Silfverberg!

Brendan Smith should have a solid rookie year, he'll get a goood amount of minutes on Detroit.

Damien Brunner is a real wild card, watching him in wings training camp hes ridiculously fast (only behind Helm probably) and has awesome hands. Hes also starting on a line with Datsyuk and Zetterberg. But its hard to tell how these guys will have their game translate

Yakupov
Schultz

Would be highly surprised if they didn't stay on the entire year.

None of them will play this season, that's for sure.

100% sure Subban won't be playing this season, extremely unlikely he plays next year either.

Considering Hamilton will be the only one for Boston unless Spooner miraculously beats Bourque out for the 3rd line LW spot...

Lehner might get the season opener and if he continues his hot play, I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled a Mason this season.

Another dark horse rookie is CLB's Atkinson.
