You're clouding the issue unnecessarily. A prospect won't be deemed successful until they reach the big club and do something there. With our glut of defensemen, Golo will quickly be passed by forward prospects.

He can't replace Wiz for the same reasons righthanded pitcher can't replace lefthender in baseball.
I saw that some people are ready to trade Wiz cause we've got a lot of young defensemen, but seems like they have forgotten what was the one of the biggest Jackets problems for years, why they signed Westcott long term, why they traded for Jason Williams a few years ago for the playoffs push... It's really hard to find righthanded shot from the blue-line on the PP. All the other Jackets righthanded d-men ain't even close to fill that role - Savard, Prout and Golo probably won't even get a spot on the next season roster.
In terms pf what Wiz brings to the table he's as untouchable as JMFJ right now.

the thing about reilly is you can't really judge him at this point b/c he played in such a lower league...this year we will see while he's at Minnesota...he'll be playing with a higher level of players...
