Like I have said many times on here.....Rielly is the real deal....and When Burke said he got the best player in the draft he meant it as I did before the draft.

McG is better than him IMHO. Yak's attitude does not impress me, just another Ovie.

Great game and Rielly was outstanding, I had some company and missed bits and pieces of the game and couldn't post until now but what I saw, was a young defenceman that will be on our D for many years, what a great draft choice, very glad they weren't listening to me, I wanted Grigoreko.

Next game tomorrow 10 AM same channel TSN2, I'm going to take the phone off the hook and lock the door...LOL

I'm a big Rielly supporter too and I can't claim to have wanted him before the draft as I was expecting the leafs to take a forward. Good on you for liking Rielly before he was picked by the leafs, it just gets old when you have to repeat it, thats all.

I guess it's a sin to say Hamilton didn't play well. Especially if it comes from a Leaf fan.

Rielly was probably the best defenseman on the ice this game. Too bad he didn't get more icetime (which he deserved).

Kid will be a superstar.

Rielly is bigger than I thought he would be. Doesnt even look all that much smaller if any than Murray.

Let's settle our expectations a little, guys.

He played well, yeah, but claiming he's going to be a superstar or that he's the best draft choice after one game? Come on now, let's relax.

are you sure or pretty sure?

all i know is on draft day i saw murray listed at 6'1 200 and rielly at 6 197. i said they barely looked different, but i would assume murray stands a little taller. could be wrong.

You sir are correct.

That being said, I dont think size will be a liability for rielly.
