Rielly came as advertised. Very dynamic, unreal skating ability, great passer, gives a lot of effort and was pretty good defensively, hard and quick breakout passes

Highlights:

- Rielly's assist to Monahan on the PP
- Rielly comes out from behind the net, comes with speed an forechecker is coming at him, quickly slows down and then even he accelerates to top speed leaving the forechecker behind
- Rielly comes back all the way from center ice all the way back to dive and break up a two on one play, showcases unreal speed
- Rielly infront of his net, with a forechecker on him skates right past him with ease and protects the puck and fires it all the way up to Schiefele for a breakaway pass that he does not convert on

Rielly's hustle to break up that 2 on 1 was great. Seems like he has unbelievable acceleration and speed. He came out of no where on that play.

Missed the game today. Had to work.

Good to hear that Rielly played well. Any other Canadian stand outs?

Actually the TSN video isn't bad, the Camera work of the game was really not that great, the angles were not too good and I guess we are spoiled here in Canada because we have the best TV crews in the world for hockey.

Pretty straightforward 10 foot pass haha... More impressed with watching his instincts on when to jump and and join the forwards on the rush never seemed to get caught.

As for Moose Jaw next year....goal-tending was the issue this year....and in the playoff when they won game 4 they started a player who played Midget this year. They return most of their key players.

They will be as good as the kid between the pipes allows them to be. They could finish in the top 4 or as low as 8th.....Justin Paulic is the kids name....he was also the first star of the game.

Wow, Rielly will fit right in when he gets to Toronto then. Some good key players but no goalie. Glad to see he will be on the same page from day 1

I really really hope Reimer rebounds. I think he can, I just hope he does.

I think you need Silverlight, seems to me I had to download it before I could watch their videos.

My thoughts exactly. It was such a simple pass( nonetheless on the PP, so it should be expected).

But he did have a helluva game. 2nd best d-men right behind Murray today.

I didn't watch the game due to other errands, but I heard he made a sweet pass to sprint someone on a breakaway?

Well, Rielly's playing the top pairing with Harrington tomorrow according to Masters.

Hopefully he does well!

Rielly played well. His assist was nothing special but he made some incredible outlet passes. As the game went on it seemed like he was rewarded with more ice time.
