The Five Worst Dallas Stars of All Time
Some good stuff. The first worst Stars of all time. I might have included Fabian Brunnstrom or Artus Irbe, but it's a solid list.

That last one is going to be a bit controversial, that's for sure.

Guerin on the list but no Arnott? At least Guerin was good until his thigh exploded.

Modano and Guerin shouldn't be on here.
If Avery isn't #1, it's a terrible list already.
No Mittens?

Niskinen sucked for a while, but I wouldn't put him above Avery or Brunstrom. Guerin shouldn't be on that list too.

Saw Avery at #5, then Modano at #1, then closed it.

I dont think Brunnstrom sucks for us, he scored 21 goals in his first season. He just couldn't follow it up.

In what world is Modano the worst player in franchise history? We had Jarkko Varvio, Jim Storm, Janne Niinimaa, Jeff Woywitka, Andrew Raycroft etc. It's not like he ever even had a contract that weighed the team down. Maybe you could say his presence in the locker room disturbed the team and was a big reason we haven't made the playoffs in 4 years, but he's already been gone for 2 of those years.

Not a very well-written article....doesn't seem like much thought was put into it.

Saw the thread title and thought to myself "Modano being on the list would be a good troll". Then I opened the link and saw him as #1 and proceeded to lol hard.

Nah, Stefan was a perfectly fine player.
Thread needs more Valeri Kamensky and Donald Audette if Avery qualifies with his 20 some games.
Late model Sydor should also be in the running. He made Niskanen look good.

How about Scott Young? 16 points in 53 games his last year here. Man the pre-lockout Stars were a wasteland of shattered dreams.

Mark Parrish too. Somehow managed to play 44 games despite being total crap after his first week with the team.
I could go on, this is fun. So many bad players!

Stefan was a solid bottom six player here. It's a shame his image is unfairly tarnished for one play.

The first full season I watched (08-09), Tippet was playing Sutherby in a top 6 roll and Parish regularly.
Good times.

Ladislav Nagy was a disappointment too.
