I don't expect we'll be much of a threat without Klefbom and Brodin. Hopefully some guys can step up, but looking at the competition I think we're screwed. Sucks, but I guess it's just one of those years.

Yeah, I agree. In a normal year it wouldnt have been as bad. I just cant see these guys be able to handle someone like RNH. Theyll get undressed by NHL-talent. Maybe, just maybe the larger ice will help us a bit against Canada. Then again theres still an unbelievably strong Russian team.

Our D will probably be a nice surprise since the d-men that was selected still are pretty good, although most of them are no-names for a NA audience. However the D still looks weaker than in the previous wjc´s, and we would have needed those rock-solid guys on the defense like Brodin ad Klefbom that can eat big minutes to challenge the favorites Canada and Russia.
