1. COL- Seth Jones
2. TOR- Nathan MacKinnon (would be one crazy storyline if the Leafs got him)
3. ANA- Sean Monahan
4. CGY- Hunter Shinkaruk (local boy, can play center)
5. PHI- Curtis Lazar
6. CBJ- Sasha Barkov
7. OTT- Elias Lindholm
8. NYI- Rasmus Ristolainen
9. VAN- Ryan Pulock
10. PIT- Jonathan Drouin
11. WSH- Valeri Nichushkin
12. WPG- Max Domi
13. CBJ (NYR)- Robert Hagg
14. CAR- Adam Erne
15. FLA- Kerby Rychel
16. BOS- Jacob De-La Rose
17. STL- Hudson Fasching
18. TBL- Josh Morrissey
19. PHX- Anthony Duclair
20. SJS- JT Compher
21. NJD- Nikita Zadorov
22. MIN- Madison Bowey
23. DET- Andre Burakovsky
24. DAL- Bo Horvat
25. NSH- Ryan Kujawinski
26. BUF- Tyler Hill
27. EDM- Eric Roy
28. CHI- Bogdan Yakimov
29. CBJ (LAK)- Darnell Nurse
30. MTL- Will Butcher

Some teams get shafted, some teams get lucky, but it's all random. Mock away!
Basically used mynhldraft after the top 10.. don't know a whole lot about these kids yet.

Saku Salminen of Jokerit, close to 6'3 over 200 pounds, i'm guessing if at all a pick in the later rounds but anyone know where he's projected to go or more about his game, just saw highlights and kid stood out with his size!

What they should do is have every team start out with 5 balls by default number and take away 1 for every:

-Stanley Cups Won in Last 3 Years
-Playoff Appearance They have had (so if they made it to the stanley cup finals that's minus two balls) in the past three years
-Every #1 Overall Pick in the past three years

So you get this as the team, #Balls Chance at first overall pick:
Calgary 5 5.26%
Carolina 5 5.26%
Columbus 5 5.26%
Dallas 5 5.26%
Minnesota 5 5.26%
New York I 5 5.26%
Toronto 5 5.26%
Winnipeg 5 5.26%
Anaheim 4 4.21%
Colorado 4 4.21%
Florida 4 4.21%
St. Louis 4 4.21%
Tampa Bay 4 4.21%
Buffalo 3 3.16%
Montreal 3 3.16%
Ottawa 3 3.16%
New Jersey 3 3.16%
Columbus (NYR) 2 2.11%
Detroit 2 2.11%
Edmonton 2 2.11%
Nashville 2 2.11%
Phoenix 2 2.11%
Pittsburgh 2 2.11%
San Jose 2 2.11%
Washington 2 2.11%
Philadelphia 2 2.11%
Vancouver 2 2.11%
Boston 1 1.05%
Chicago 1 1.05%
Columbus (LAK) 1 1.05%
Total Balls: 95
CBJ has total chance of 8.42%
After CBJ is selected first time their ball number is reduced to 3
After CBJ is selected their second time, ball number is reduced to 1

If the Oilers do drop that low, I hope they take Fucale or Comrie. Nothing against Roy or Bunz, but it would be great to have Comrie's brother as a prospect.

As an Avalanche fan if I had that first overall pick I wouldn't be so jumpy to pick Jones right away. I would not give up MacKinnon that easy, if we were to take Jones it better be in the no. 2 position. As of now I don't see Jones as the better player to take over MacKinnon.

I think they're pretty equal. Maybe try to trade down to 2 so you get a little bit extra..but who will by into it ?

Yeah, at this point I'd rather have a Letang or Kopitar than a Carey Price. We have plenty of good goalie prospects as well. A legit number 1 defenseman is my hope for this draft. In a lottery we could get a chance at Ristolainen or Pulock. Maybe even Jones.

Nah, not for goalies. See: DiPietro, Fleury. Sure he could be as good as Carey Price, but frankly for goalies I wouldn't take them with any pick inside the top 15 unless it's a terrible draft(like '07).

I agree to go BPA, but excluding goalies.

Is this an illustration of a proposed rule for folks with multiple first rounders, or are you just auto-assuming a CBJ-NYR-LAK selection order?

Because the former strikes me as needlessly draconian.

Seth Jones + Erik Johnson on the point would make me quite the happy fan.

Too bad it would require a full lockout + the stars to align.

what are the odds for each team? i also think that there will be a yakupov vs mackinnon debate/rivalry, yakupov being lightly compared to ovechkin drafted the year before a lock out and mackinnon being sightly compared to crosby and being drafted during a lock out season
well anyway their situations and play styles are the same and hopefully the hockey gods give the isles some mercy and let them get in the top 2 for mackinnon or jones if there is a lock out mackinnon tavares one 2 punch would be arguably the best in the league during their primes

If the draft order is this though. I'd kill myself.

And noway is Subban in the first round if MTL or Boston doesnt pick late.
If Monahan is on the board at 4 there is no way the Flames pass. 1st line center.

Looks good to me...as does any that has Vancouver picking top-10. Ristolainen is one of my favourite players this draft.

I'm pretty sure the center starved Leafs grab Monahan before you do, Flames.
