We heard from Shaw that he put up some muscles and is good to go and already waits... what about some other guys like Leddy or Krüger? Any news about them getting bigger and more muscles?

At the convention, Kruger said he had put on some weight, but didn't specify how much, and I think he even said something like "you can't add it all in one summer."

No idea about Leddy.

For what it's worth I see either Saad or Kane taking the 2C and opening up a huge hole...

Stalberg-Toews- Saad
Sharp- Kane- Hossa
Shaw - Bolland - Bickell
Mayers - Kruger - Carcillo
(Hayes/Frolik)

I can't see it being Saad. He has no experience in the NHL and no experience playing centre. From what I understand, when he tried it at prospect camp, he looked pretty bad. It is more likely that Kruger would be 2C than Saad.

Saad may not be the bet option but he does make the line look solid as hell! Doan too'

Saad is no more ready for 2nd line C than Kruger is, actually, I would prefer Kruger over Saad at the 2nd line C. I think it's silly to even think he would be the 2nd line C.

Hey guys, another question. What do you think Seabrook's production will be this year? In terms of points, PIM and +/-?

There is no chance in hell Brandon Saad ends up being a centre on this team. Also, at this point, I think it's clear that Doan is going to re-sign in Phoenix. If he had any intention of signing anywhere else, he would have signed by now.

7-10 goals, 25-30 assists, 30-40 PIM and +15-20.

I agree. He definitely has been working out. With him, is he over his injuries? It really set him back. I thought last year would be a big breakout for him. He is a winner and comes up big in huge games. Like mvp of the frozen 4 and his huge ot goal in game 6 against Vancouver

He looks almost too bulky. He must be just training like an animal because of injuries and time off in one way or the other. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he played a few games and got back to his hype from a few years ago.

Carcillo-Kane-Hossa
Saad-Bolland-Shaw

We really have too many forwards. We also have to find room for kruger, Hayes, and Bollig. I can see rotating Mayers and Bollig as the 13th or 12th forward. I can see them take the easy way out and put Hayes and Smith in rockford. I think that is a mistake

Lol. Would be a Great team. You need either Smith or Shaw on line 2, though.

I find Bickell on the third line is the biggest "bleeecchhh" about our lineup.

But it should look like this:

Stalberg Toews Hossa
Saad Kane Sharp
Bickell Bolland Shaw
Carcillo Kruger _______________________________________

Thing is this is a contract year for Bickell.... We know he can be an asset if he simply keeps his head in the game... Perhaps this being a contract year and him making what he makes will be the motivation... I know if it isn't, then it's time to let him go without any second thoughts.

Bickell is cheap and replaceable. If he plays good, he keeps his roster spot. If not, he will sit

Kruger in the top-six. Such a joke.

Can't believe that there have been times with the team healthy that we had a guy with stone hands and absolutely zero playmaking ability playing with our best forwards.

It's two things: Bowman failing to fill a need and Q not willing to make a sensible change.
