That's awesome so weird to think that no helmets and stuff was the norm back then, too bad the music sucks though.

Didn't see even one guy dump the puck into the corner - everybody carried it across the blueline.

Back when hockey was real - all about skill. None of the BS grinding, skilless crap we see so much of today.

And, I really like the music - it makes the video seam so epic and surreal.

I like the wild scrum at 2:20 with the ref making several arm blocks of flying sticks. Great footage.

Were any more of these made and was this put together decades ago or now from old footage with colour added?

Man if we can get coloured footage from the 1940s of the wars then I hope one day they can do that for hockey broadcasts.

That was quite simply fantastic. The music fit it perfectly, with a great ending crescendo. Brought back many memories.

Beliveau was so big, standing tall. Saucer passes (just considered "a pass" back then) with flat sticks. Maskless golies laying out along the crease. Bodies, sticks, and skates tangling in front of the goal. Gordie Howe with dark hair. Bobby Orr with his crew cut. Bobby Hull with all sorts of feathery passes. Speed and agility all around. Pain and anguish.

Fights...
