Slava won 3-0.

He had a goal. Looked good to me he's really big and tenacious on the puck. But I did just see the 3rd period so take it for what it's worth.

Tierney just scored the GWG in doube OT to put the Knights up 2-0 in their series against Saginaw, he also helped set up a game tying goal in the final second of regulation. Jake Paterson was unreal in the loss.

Tierney now has 5 points in the two games, 1g, 4a.

I've only seen 2 full Knights games, but he's a great defensive player with size and skating. He seems to be playing a very defensive role, which helps to explain some of his poor production. Hopefully the playoffs are his coming out party.

Yeah, the main reason I have absolutely no interest in drafting Domi is because he seems like your prototypical one-zone player.

What would Daniil Tarasov's HF Prospect rating be?

It's too soon to say what his NHL upside is just yet. If he continues to play at the level he's been playing for the past 20 or so games and continues to work on his defensive game and his play away from the puck, he could be a scoring winger.

I refuse to rate prospects the way HF does. It makes no sense to give a prospects a ranking and then give him separate rating that lists his probability of hitting the ranking. Talk about hedging your bet. I rate Tarasov as a 10D!!!

But seriously...I think Tarasov could turn out to be a good second line player. He also has the same chance of being an AHL lifer. He's played 30ish AHL games, let's see how he does the rest of the season before we start worrying about what he may do a couple years down the road.

So how come BC and UMass are in no matter what, even though BU only had 1-2 points less?

The announcer said that UMass is in no matter if they win or lose, while BU has to win to advance.

I have coached against Chris Tierney through minor hockey and always thought his ceiling was really high namely due to his high hockey IQ. He was not the biggest kid in minor but has grown and works out with Gary Roberts in the off season and is already 6 1 190 and he ain't done in my opinion. The hunters have taught him to be defensively responsible but trust me kid has offensive upside as a playmaker and put up 58 points in 67 games playing as a shut down center.
London twitter and Facebook have issued saying he has signed with Sharks but have not seen any announcement from the Sharks.

According to Capgeek, he's signed with SJ.

Thanks for the report though, he's certainly someone to keep an eye on.
